Extreme or Not Extreme

I had two questions regarding a request thread.

The first being:: How should I label a story if the intimacy is meant to be light/dubious-consent but it also happens to have violence in it?

The second being:: If I drastically updated and changed my original idea, am I allowed to bump it?

Depends on the level of violence. What one person can tolerate to read, another may not. If you are having doubts on how extreme that violence will be, it is usually safe to put it in the EX board. No one is going to complain about a thread not being violent/gorey enough to be in the EX board. Even if it's just one scene, you should place the game into the board of your most actionable scene. So even if it's just one scene of extreme violence, it should go into EX.

As for your idea thread, the answer is yes. If the story idea has been drastically changed or updated, you can bump it before the one month limit. In your bump post, you should include what has been changed about it and how it differs from what it originally was.

One of my partners proactively places their RP threads one level above the intended content just to have the option of ratcheting it up later.

Just as a note, moving threads to adjust the content level is probably one of the easiest tasks Staff has.  Never worry about asking Staff to move a thread to accommodate a change in circumstance.
