Can't Edit posts in ON TOPIC board.

So, I KNOW I had gone back and edited some stuff on these boards before. re-wording thigns a few minutes later after I figured it could've been better said, deleting things that no one paid attention to anyways, etc. I went to take a shower, come back and … the edit option is now gone from any posts I've made in the ON TOPIC forums.

What's up with that? I know I'm not mistaken because I looked at other's posts and some of them have the "edited on such and such date" at the bottom of their posts. Many of them well past a few minutes. some even several hours later. Did I miss something? Are posts in these areas now permanent after initial posting?

ALSO can't edit my posts HERE apparently. And other places. So I'm thinking this is just ME somehow??? I'm confused. Never had this issue before. Is it a bug?
