BESM/OVA/OverArms: Persona 6

So, I might be barking up the wrong tree right now - or maybe I'm not, but would be better suited looking for a solo-game to pursue this in - but I figured I'd throw together a post just to see.

I've purchased BESM 4th Edition, as well as OVA, and would love to use one of them - or neither, and go narrative - in order to play a "Persona 6" campaign. I have a character and story in mind that I'd be interested in for this, but would be more than happy to work on the specifics of the story with any potential partner/GM/group. For the sake of getting the ball rolling, and letting people know what kind of thing I'm on about, I'll give what details have surfaced in my mind, as well as show the picture that I found which sparked off the whole idea:

So the initial idea - and please keep in mind that this is very first draft - is that the above characters, Persona-users all, awaken to their powers through music - likely different kinds for different personalities: my character, for example, would have forged her contract with her Persona after singing a note so loudly and passionately that her eyes and ears bled (which is in-keeping, I think, with the "awakening" animations shown in the series - I also imagine that, for my character at least, she'd use song to draw forth her Persona to attack, all whilst being a melee/ranged badass like the Persona users of yore). This band of rogues/warriors/phantoms enter the "otherworld/Metaverse" in a manner similar to that used in Persona - perhaps through a smart phone app or something else that they might all have ready access to and then can either continue the trend shown in P5 of changing hearts/fighting Shadows, or perhaps do something different. I'm open to ideas.

The metaplot in my head was tied in to the potential release of Nyx and how that would result in all life ending on Earth, but that's open to modification too. At this point, everything's loose in my head, and I'm happy to work with others to amend to suit all.

Character-wise, I'd love to play the pictured singer, who I'd love to be the group's "wild card" - like Joker in P5, she can merge/form bonds with more than one Persona, which allows her to be versatile whilst ensuring that no single Persona is ever as truly incredible at one branch of magic as any single Persona which is used constantly by a single, bound user. A jack-of-all-trades them: varied in how she can be used, but only her first and original Persona - Memnoch (yes, after the Anne Rice Devil) - would be truly powerful. Who knows, maybe Memnoch might end up evolving into Satanael further down the line, much like Arsène did.

In truth, my character might well end up being like Joker from P5, and that's intentional to a degree: I loved that game, and him as a character, and want to try my hand at a "cool protagonist" kind of character in this kind of setting.

I own both BESM 4th and OVA, and would be happy with either, though the former might take some coordination with the GM to work out what Advantages, Enhancements and Limitations need to be taken to represent the Personas/Metaverse in P6.

Considering I've been trying (and failing) to balance my time between Person 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE...Why not toss in interest for Persona 6?

I don't know any of those systems, admittedly, so consider it tentative interest...If you all go Freeform, I'm in! Especially with the music theme, as Tokyo Mirage Sessions probably has me hooked the most right now.

The music theme is an element I feel strongly about, so it'll be kept - for my character at least. In her case, the pain of her contract ended in her singing that note which released Memnoch (as well as the bleeding eyes and ears). Now, when she enters the otherworld, her clothing changes that pictured above (a jacket and trousers, though you can't see them, as well as white gloves as a headset microphone, which she sing through to bring forth Memnoch and another other Personas she's bonded with).

Yo, this sounds dope. I'd have to read up on those rulesets, but I'm down with that since I like systems more than free form in games where there's combat involved (even if my luck is terrible).

Maybe play a rough acting drummer boy of the Fortune arcana who has Cerberus as a Persona and uses brass knuckles and push daggers to brawl shadows. And of course, like all Persona characters, he has secret hidden layers to be discovered later. But speaking of that, would you and the GM prefer that full histories be available to all players for plotting and stuff, or that they're sent to the GM so PCs learn about each other fully in game--most likely when the past comes to bite characters in the ass?

I'd prefer the GM to know, and the players to find out. I certainly won't want to divulge all of my wild card's information upfront.

I imagine my character will use dual daggers, and dual pistols, trading between them as needed. I'm also going to give her maximum Inspire, because I'm feeling a charisma/leadership character urge recently that I haven't satisfied in my home or online games so far. (Plus, with the exception of a brief variation for P3 handheld, there is no female leader, so P6 should be different!) I have other details in place, but will wait to share them until we've discussed further. Also, though she's is a wild card, I imagine she's tied to the Fool Arcana like Joker was, though that can change to something more fitting if need be (or she could lack an Arcana, which also makes sense for the wild card). In either case, her original Persona is an aspect of the Devil (Memnoch), but isn't what she's tied to, which makes me think that lacking one might be more suitable.

What style of music would he adopt? I imagine my Trickster to have a pop-rock style, but that can vary - likely depending on what Persona she calls up. The "Open Mic Knights" (as my friend referred to them, and so I will too until someone suggests something better) would easily be a diverse cluster of music styles, though whether that means they all sing to a degree (like my Trickster) or use instruments I don't know...

I'm half-tempted to make an actual OOC Thread somewhere where interested people can move to discuss this properly. Bondage sounds about right, to cover all bases? What do people think?

Personally, smut for this would be very low (for me and my character, at least) - it'll happen if it feels natural to, but I'm more interested in a Persona story than seeing the characters nail one another.
