An aquaman verse roleplay

This is something I thought up today, and it would follow events after the movie.

After the tsunami's that hit every coastline, the ships that were thrown out of the water, and the trash that was sent back onto the beaches, every country and military would be worried about the next attack from the water. Every world government and military would be devoted to finding  out if they could defend themselves, but first, the underwater cities would have to be found.

My character would be a navy Lieutenant, assigned to take a new underwater craft down, deeper than anyone would have gone before, to locate the underwater cities, and to determine if there was another attack coming. My craft would be one of several, sent down to the deepest parts of the ocean. Mine would be picked up by patrol craft, hit, damaged, and brought in for questioning.

From there, it can go in one of several directions. She could be questioned, treated well, and shown around, to prove that they dont want war. After all, humans may be unprepared, but it wont always be that way, thats one direction.
