Loosely inspired by Maleficent 2, but does NOT exist in the same universe, so Maleficent would not be making an appearance or even exist. Just wanted to make sure that was put out there.

Eliana Hillwood lives on the outskirts of an empire presently in an active war with the worlds Fey… humans pushed them all out of their natural habitats long ago, leaving them with only the Enchanted Forest far to the South as a safe haven… until now, when humans of the empire have begun to encroach upon the forest, chopping trees for the magical properties within the wood… making what refuge the Fey have smaller and smaller…

The Fey have had enough… the humans and their greed cannot be permitted to continue as they are…

They declare war upon the empire, vowing to take back all of their respective habitats and crush the empire forever…

One day… after a fierce attack on the empire, the Fey forced to retreat after the empire unleashed their new harpoon guns… Eliana, while her huntsman father was away for two weeks hunting for game to sell, she found what looked to be a Fey of the Tundra unconscious and wounded begin her cottage…

Empire laws said that she should have reported him immediately and surrendered him… but Eliana had always felt that what the humans were doing to the Fey was wrong and they had every right to be angry and fed up, there was more than enough room in the world for everyone to live… so she instead got him inside the cabin and tended his wounds, nursing him back to health.

My idea was that after he wakes up, they talk over the time she has until her father comes back and he feels drawn to her, attracted to her…

One thing I was imagining was that after he leaves, another attack is launched on the empire, a BIG one… and to protect Eliana, he kidnaps her and takes her away to the Fey village within the Enchanted Forest...
