Kayrax: Oh bugger, I missed that. I'll edit the stuff in. I hope to see some fun investigation stuff with Auspex too!

Hades: Nothing ever plays nice in VtM >>

See, Amaris proved my point!

Hades

There is that, true.   Then again, when talking about everyone's favorite little fleshcrafting psycho-traumas..."nice" is such a relative term.  >:)

all this Tremere talk has me missing my goth magician's assistant/pickpocket. :(

Kayrax

"Nice" is the sort of term best described by a Torrie if it's anything tangible or a Ventrue if it's anything ethical. You just need a large bowl of blood soaked popcorn to pass the time...

And talk of pick-pocketing magicians actually makes me think of a Ravnos entertainer I used to put on shows around Vegas and New Reno. It was the perfect gig - the food willingly came to him and his use of illusions ensured he'd always be a hit.

I just want to tell everyone reading all this and worrying that their level of game knowledge doesn't match that of what people are posting, don't worry.

I learned this system from Bly as a GM in one of these games. Having played in several of these I can tell you with complete confidence that this story will have nowhere near this level of focus on rules discussion. Once we actually start the rules go like "Hey Bly how does X work / what do I roll here?" "*Bly Explains*" "Thanks!" And that's it. No judgment for not knowing.

The actual game will be a lot more about characters, growth, and the looming darkness over everything. It will be amazingly fun. I say this not as someone who has any idea what is going to happen, just as someone who has played in Bly's games before. :)

So anyone reading all this worried they aren't system adept enough, don't let that scare you off. I knew nothing the first time I played in one of these. :)

Me too! I still don't know a lot. I've only played one other time and it was in Bly's game! Thanks, Red, for the encouragement :)

I've done my best with this. It's my first time making a character sheet independently, so there might be some mistakes I need to iron out. Still a WIP though. Any thoughts or criticims are more than welcome!

As someone who has played in Bly's games before, I want to echo this! Granted, for most of the time I kind of know whats going on, but most my experience was with an older version of VTM, so some of the new changes still trip me up sometimes, but  Bly has made it a fun, relaxed experience in the past, and whoever gets to play this time, should enjoy it

Kayrax

That's the kind of healthy attitude folks should have for any game really, whether solo or in small/larger groups. Social interaction aside, isn't fun a big (biggest?) reason to roleplay in the first place? :-)

I'm going to begin sheet reviews shortly!

If folks would be so good as to post here in thread if you prefer public (feedback in the interest check) or private (feedback via PMs) feedback on your sheet, that would help me immensely. :)

Also private please~

Working on yours now! Pleasantly surprised to see you, as I wasn't expecting you to express interest. Very delighted! <3

I'll take a PM as well.   Have to get a message every now and then anyway to keep the dust bunnies from taking over the inbox.  :D

Updated my sheet earlier in the thread and asked private! :) Though that's mostly just not to clog up the thread. If there's any feedback in particular that would also help others I'm okay with it being here though.

RedPhoenix

Public's fine, but if you'd rather do everyone the same way I don't mind private either! :D
