Hey there! So this is my first request thread on this site so apologies if I forget to include any information!
Who am I?
- I’m a PhD student from the US
- I come shipped with over 12 years of rp experience
- I play both male and female characters but am most comfortable with males. My preferred pairing is MxF, but I’m not opposed to MxM, I’m just less experienced there. I don’t do FxF because I’m just not that comfortable in the F role
- I can write a lot when I get excited. When into a rp, my minimum is well over 500 words.
- I may take a while to warm up to you, but I love OOC talk in rps
- I generally can be pretty active and can post frequently (multi-times a day) I don%u2019t expect that though! I also have a bad habit of forgetting to post and vanishing. I%u2019m getting better at it though! If I%u2019m dropping a rp, I will tell you. If you don’t hear from me assume I will pop back up at any moment.
- I'm a dark person, this means I have no limits. This can somewhat show in my darker roleplays. In historical settings, I'm cool with romanticizing some things, but I still want darker themes true to the context. The same with serial killers and paranormal type roleplays. Just be careful with mental illness though. If you're going to use it, just make sure to research it
- For more sexual themes. I’m really okay with darker stuff. I will say that I%u2019m newer at writing this stuff so may stumble some
- For fandoms, I primarily play OCs and am more comfortable with those. However, there are a couple I MIGHT be willing to play in the right context. I’d prefer to stick to OCs though
- I exclusively rp in third person past tense
What I expect
This section is going to be short. I’m a really chill person! Just have decent grammar, be open to communicating, and contribute to the plot. Just don’t be an asshole and we%u2019ll get along fine (if your characters are assholes. They have permission)

The Game was Rigged From the Start (1920s)
So 100% Peaky Blinders inspired. It basically follows the romance between Tommy and Grace in S1.
Muse A is a shadow who rules the streets. Everyone answers to him, except no one knows its him. Muse B is the plant sent in to figure out who is behind it all and flush them out.
The New Era (Napoleonic Era)
This is based off Napoleon’s rise to power
Muse A was one of the stars of the Swiss Guard. Born into an elite family, there wasn't much else. Entering the Swiss military, he quickly showed extreme potential, desperate to give him a battlefield, he was handed over as an officer to the Swiss Guard and therefore at the mercy of the French King Louis. He bounced around to the French colonies mostly trying to quell the pending Revolution. Fairly successful as a infantry commander, his next mission was in the heart of Paris itself. Stationed to guard the Tuleries Prison, he was one of the few Swiss survivors taken captive by the Revolutionaries.
Muse B has completely found themselves caught up in the new wave of ideologies. Sick of the wealthy and their power, they were one of the first to stand up. THe first sign the Revolt was real was when they were interrogating prisoners at the Paris City Hall. It's in their interrogations that they meet the young Swiss sergeant. Already witnessing the death of his fellow Swiss Guard, Muse A makes an outburst pledging loyalty to the Revolution. Initially a survival tactic, Soon he falls under strict watchful eye of the Revolutionaries. Necessity eventually gives to pure ambition. Muse A sees an opportunity to claim power, and he's willing to take it. Soon he realizes that ambition may not be the only motivating factors pushing him.
The Idea to Die For (American Colonial)
Muse A%u2019s family had practically everything. Born into high society with a family member in Parliament since practically the beginning, his life has been laid out since before he was born. That being said, he never fit in the typical high society mold and was known for his attitude. Already knowing his future in England, he took the change and ran to the colonies for a little life experience
Muse B’s family had nothing before they arrived in the colonies and after they got there, they had less. Losing her parents at a young age, she was left at the mercy of the colonial streets. Despising the people who took everything and continued to take everything, it was so surprise she threw her hat in with the rebellion the first chance.
So somehow that I’m too tired to think of, Muse A and Muse B’s paths cross. Somehow A gets committed to the ideas of the revolution and either works as a double agent type thing or a spy.[/spoiler]
Others
When the Lights Die
Muse A is a professional (American) football player. Young and talented, their career was expected to be hall of fame level. Everything seemed to be the stuff out if movies until it wasn’t In less than a minute, it was all over. Injured, he faded out of the spotlight. As quickly as he had gained fans, they turned.
Muse B can just be about anything
Nuclear Skies (Metro 2033 inspired)
Years had passed since humanity’s own ignorance and greed threw the world into flame. Like the ticking of a clock, bombs erupted leaving nothing behind but radiation and devastation. Those who survive managed to do so by sheltering underground. Those who were in bunkers lasted a little while, but those who made it to the metro stations? They thrived. Well thrived as much as you could in cramped conditions while being hunted by mutated creatures.
Anyone who went to the outside world was considered insane. If it wasn’t the beasts that hunted them, they usually fell victim to the harsh weather or the poison in the air. These people who made trips to the surface, they were known as stalkers.
Like many, Muse A was born underground. Their entire life was spent staring at metal walls and living with no personal space. When they were a teenager, desperate for money, they joined on to a merchant group as a guard. After seeing the open sky for the first time, they never looked back. Officially becoming a stalker, they were outside multiple times a week. Soon it became more frequent to the point that Muse A only came back down to the stations to sell off supplies and stock up.
Like Muse A, Muse B was also born below ground. They grew up hearing stories of the outside world, but they never cared. The attacks to their station were frequent enough that they didn’t want to see what the world had in store. They also knew that eventually they would have to succeed their father as leader of the station and such mentality was more harmful than good. After another wave of attacks, Muse B was forced to flee, not knowing the tunnels they ended up gasping for breath on the surface as the tunnels caved in behind them. Lost and wandering for somewhere secure, they find their way to a building that seems safe enough, a building that happens to be Muse A’s temporary camp.
Until Death Do Us Part (Inspired by Soul Suspect)
MC was a detective during the 1940s. A little rogue and a little stubborn, he was known for doing his own thing. With a successful career and a beautiful fiance, it seemed like he had everything. One day while tracking down a serial killer that stretches back decades, he ends up getting shot. Dying on the streets, nothing went black. Instead, he woke up as the sirens came running in. Since then, he’s been caught in limbo and tied to the station he used to work in.
YC is living in the modern world. Smart and quick witted, she almost immediately probed her worth and set her on the fast track to detective work. Along with her natural talent, she’s also been able to see what others can%u2019t. When a series of murders warrants her transfer, she quite literally stumbles into MC
