Hello, and welcome.
≺⟡≻ I'll be skipping over introductions and will direct those interested in learning more about me to please check my primary search thread and my O&O thread.

≺⟡≻ In this request thread I am detailing a prompt for a One-Shot story with no particular time-period in mind. First and foremost, this is NOT a canon universe story. We will only be borrowing a small fraction of lore from various media and NO prior knowledge of these universes will be necessary to participate. The universe we establish will be our own. This can be expanded to more than one scene but I would prefer to keep it as a short-term game with limited world-building (essentially borrowing concepts from established media). This story would have strong elements of dark themes, violence/combat, manipulation, coercion, sexual tension, seduction, love/hate dynamic, abuse (primarily emotional and psychological), sadism, corruption, light blood-play, and possible dubious consent. It very likely will not feature a happy ending. I do not have any stipulations about my partner's real life gender, but I am envisioning this scenario with my partner in the male role opposite my female character.

As is mentioned in the thread title, I was heavily influenced by Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Vampire Diaries/The Originals, and will take fragments from each of those universes to build a basic skeleton of lore for this short-term story. The major elements of note will be as follows:

  • The Slayer (BtVS): a "chosen one" destined to fight against the forces of darkness and maintain the balance of good and evil
  • The Council (BtVS): an assemblage of individuals who are charged with cataloging potential Slayers, they also oversee and train the existing Slayer and inform her of impending threats.
  • Selective humanity (TVD/TO): Vampires can effectively "disable" their humanity, and most do to avoid emotions associated with it (such as guilt when they feed). Re-engaging their humanity once it has been disabled is extremely difficult, as it requires a willingness to do so and most vampires have no desire to return to having a conscience.
  • Enhanced emotions/senses: Vampires feel emotions and physical sensations (like pain or touch) more intensely than humans when they do not have their humanity "turned off". Vampires with engaged humanity must learn to temper and control it over time.
  • Daylight rings (TVD/TO): spelled rings that allow vampires to walk in daylight (rarer to come by than in TVD/TO)

≺⟡≻   Against all odds a Slayer and a "humane" Vampire have fallen in love. When the Slayer refuses to acquiesce to the Council's demands that she kill her lover they take matters into their own hands by capturing the Vampire. The Slayer is lead to believe the Vampire is dead as the Council torture and maim him, a long process which is exceptionally more excruciating due to his affliction greatly enhancing the strength of his senses and emotions. Finally, he is forced to "turn off" his humanity to dull the intensity of the pain, and once he has reverted to a sadistic state the Council unleashes him on the Slayer, both to punish her and to illustrate the importance of her killing all vampires indiscriminately. The Slayer is on patrol, mid-altercation when she crosses paths with the Vampire, shocked to see he's still alive(ish). Emotionally compromised by his unexpected appearance, she fails to realize he is not the same and she is speaking to a part of him she's never known. He uses this against her at first, playing a cruel game for his own amusement until she finally recognizes that he's changed and is forced to fight him. He further entertains himself by taking every opportunity to sadistically taunt and tease her and delights in her emotional turmoil. Their combat quickly devolves with his manipulation and coercion earning him the upper hand, and soon the fight turns into a passionate and bitter love/hate exchange; a dance with darkness from which the Slayer may not emerge victorious.

    NOTES

You wouldn't necessarily need to be fixated on writing any part of him before he turns off his humanity, unless you chose to include the memory of it with writing him in his current state. In his more volatile form I see him as sadistic, hedonistic, manipulative, and calculative. The conquest and emotional evisceration of a Slayer would appeal more to him than outright killing her. No bones about it, this is a blatant and shameless rip off of the Buffy & Angel/Angelus dynamic - brought to you by a lovely quarantine-induced re-watch of BtVS & Angel. Naturally, now I want to write something similar but not exactly the same (obviously toeing towards the darker and more carnal end of the spectrum). More aspects from The Vampire Diaries/The Originals universe could also be peppered into the lore throughout the story, if desired, but since it's just a one-shot there's no need to be overly concerned with much depth.

    • Post Length: While quality is desirable over quantity, it's also extremely rare for me to write anything less than 800 words, so a partner on the same wavelength is optimal.
    • Post Frequency: I don't typically impose a frequency rate for posts from my partners, however I would greatly like to try and keep a faster pace with this and would prefer it to be a minimum of one post a week, if at all possible. That said, I fully understand real life takes precedence and I will be accommodating to such circumstances.
    • Communication: This is crucial for me, and ideally would include the use of off-site messengers like Discord. While PMs are fine I dislike how the waiting around for a response slows everything down. Consistent communication also goes a long way toward building a rapport with my partner and helps to keep me invested in our story. The roleplay itself will still take place on-site.
    • Collaboration: Regardless of the length of the roleplay we are still writing it together and I expect my partner to put in equal effort to move the story along. I refuse to carry the narrative alone.
    • Partners: As mentioned previously I do not care what your real life gender is, but I would like a partner very comfortable with writing violence and dark themes in great detail (without being excessive).
    • Faceclaims & Visual Storytelling: I use faceclaims (real life photos, usually) and templates for my characters when posting and will also use additional images in a post where it fits. A partner who does the same or similar would be nice but is not required.
    • Kinks: I see this particular story as featuring a considerable amount of rough, violent sex, possible bondage, dirty talk/light degradation, biting/scratching, possible blood and/or knife play. Open to some suggestion, barring Offs.

Now if you're still with me and still interested please send me a private message with any details you'd like to add or discuss.
