(Newbie) Interested in Group RP or Tabletop Systems

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a group, whether big or small.  There are lots of terms flying around and I am not sure which or what system to learn?  I have almost no experience in group games or system based RP's, but if there is a group or GM that is willing to help me learn a system, or even participate, I would be elated.

Settings: I like modern based worlds based around some elements of fantasy, horror, or basic adventuring.
Content: I definitely want some naughty bits in there but definitely not the main focus

Also, I want to add that I can be slow sometimes and I will ask questions in abundance. If you do get annoyed easily (because of my curiosity or need of clarification) just drop a book on me in PM and I will just read it or something.  Otherwise, I appreciate the help and invites to a group or system based RP!!
