Darling in the franxx RP (Interest check)

The Jian, also known as “the bird that shares wings,” only possesses one wing. Unless a male and female pair lean on each other and act as one, they’re incapable of flight. They’re imperfect, incomplete creatures.
But, for some reason, their way of life, struck me as profoundly beautiful. It was beautiful, I felt.

Well, this is an interest check on Darling in the Franxx-based RP, for those who didn’t know the series, it can be described as a mecha series with a Evangelionesque style, but much ligther and with young beatiful people piloting mechas against giant monster in a postapocalyptic world, but wait … they pilot them in a very particular way.

Needless to say it is a series full of serious topics, like personal growing, love, loss and death; but also with  youth drama, occasional comedy, and sexiness everywhere (even in their mechas).

Anyway, I know the series is getting a little old after it was aired in 2018 so I want to know if any of the series strong (mecha, romance, action) points appeal enough people as to continue with a more serious RP.

By the same reason, the details of the actual of the RP are negotiable, like the system, plotline, etc.

I'm not familiar with the series, but if that's not a hindrance, I'd like to toss my hat in. I read the synopsis on wikipedia. The strong points of the series bring to mind another mecha series I really enjoyed called Godannar - it also featured giant mecha piloted by a team of pilots who were - in most cases - romantically attached.

Gosh, someone saw Godannar too, I saw that series too, and a few says DITF drinks of that series as it does from NGE.
