OK, so I've been watching The Walking Dead after this AU Daryl & Beth fanfic I read titled Howl I've been playing with this idea inspired by it (without it being a fandom role play).

My Character
Its been 5 years since the start of the zombie apocalypse and my character (16 f) starts off separated from her family after an attack on their farm. She has decent survival skills and has slowly been making her way to her family's vacation home. She is still just a sixteen year old however and aware that she's inexperienced in a way that her older brothers who had taught her how to survive in this new world weren't. Her family had managed to do relatively well so in some regards she had been sheltered from what humanity had been reduced to. There's some naivete there as well, and though tempered by reality, there's a sense of hope and a touch of idealism to her. She's determined to reunite with her family and stubbornly sticks to her family's values and brave in subtle ways.

Possible face claims (sfw) and over 18 (of course)

Your Character
Now for the male character I'm seeking. Writer gender doesn't matter. The character would be anywhere between 35-45 and of course a werewolf. I need to figure out some lore in regard to the supernatural side of things. He's a drifter, who'd never really found a pack. He'd been hanging around one for a while and was a peripheral member... Until he's killed a fairly high ranking member. Now he's on the run.

I'm looking for very damaged goods here. A nice mix of strength and vulnerability. An old dog that's been kicked one time to many and is likely to bite in stead of waiting to find out whether he's going to get petted or hit. He's an excellent warrior. A follower rather than a leader, but one that finds it difficult to trust. It makes pack life difficult for him and his has been a lonely existence. Constantly needing that type of connection but unable to keep it. I imagine him being the quiet type, that tends to keep his head down and out of people's way and won't make trouble unless someone drives him past his limits. He's cynical and just surviving, he has no one and no future.

As a side note, I'd love for him to be a virgin. That old dog's going to be learning some new tricks.

When it comes to the werewolf aspect, I'd definitely like him to be rather animalistic and earthy. Close to nature and with plenty of wolfish mannerisms, especially when he's transformed. There needs to be a pronounced difference in his behaviour from that of a humans. And with the apocalypse he doesn't need to try to blend into human society any more. I imagine them as being fairly magical and somewhat fae-like in being bound to adhere to magical laws.

How the unlikely couple meet
Ok, so my character gets into a bit of a tough situation and your character comes to inspect the screaming that's going on. He's in his wolfman form and isn't really there to help I imagine, but rather to see what kinds of threat there is in the area. He gets spotted and the bad guys' attention turns to your character. He get's wounded in the fight and my character with a little skill and a lot of luck, manages to save your character from some kind of deadly blow. Perhaps a shot to the head or a near miss with a knife. He's injured, but my character manages to help yours limp to her 'çamp'.

And here those magical werewolf laws come in (that are totally not a transparent plot device) and it turns out life debts are a thing for werewolves with some interesting magical effects...

And so the story begins...

The idea still needs some development and although I realise I'm being quite specific with what I want from my writing partner when it comes to the male character I hope I've left him open enough for someone to make them their own.

"A monster is not such a terrible thing to be. From the Latin root monstrum, a divine messenger of catastrophe, then adapted by the Old French to mean an animal of myriad origins: centaur, griffin, satyr. To be a monster is to be a hybrid signal, a lighthouse: both shelter and warning at once."
