Looking for a One on One Pokemon Themed Roleplay

Hello all,

I've not really done any reaching out for new writing partners so I apologize if this is not adequate. I'm interested in  trying something new to me. I haven't really participated in many Pokemon themed Roleplaying stories, but I would like to start one. However, I wanted to change the age people earn their training license to 18 so we are not playing as children.

I do not have a full story plot worked out yet, as I want it to be cooperative with my partner. I do have several ideas already put together, though. Our characters are rivals/partners/whatever and successfully made it passed the first few gym leaders. I was thinking they just finished battling perhaps the fourth leader in whichever region we so choose to use. I am not opposed to creating our own region but it may be easier to just use a preexisting one. Anyhow, after they have completed that leader's battle, they see Team Rocket has returned once again and are causing havoc, so they step in, only to find more and more Rocket through the story that they eventually put an end to. Because this isn't a children's game but an adult story, Team Rocket no longer has to stop at stealing Pokemon, and I thought we should make their overall plan much more devious, such as summoning Garatina to wipe out all life, or something. Again, I want to make the story cooperative, so that would be something we would discuss.

Character wise, I am not too picky. I wanted to play as a female, but I can easily change to be a male if that is preferred by you. Your character can be whatever gender. Pokemon our characters use shouldn't become too overpowered, as we have to make sure we are matching the pace of the story and are appropriate for the level of the character. We can have other region's Pokemon in these regions because they are no longer so segregated in the way the regions work in the new Pokemon stuff, but we have to make sure that our characters are not trying to catch things that would obviously be too strong for their current power level.
