Hello! Thanks for checking out my request thread. I have a pretty wide variety of ideas here, in a variety of genres. While some of the ideas are very romantic in nature and others are much less so, all of them have a theme of dominance and submission. In some cases, that bond might start out organically, while in others, it would be more enforced by my character. I've tried to keep all of these ideas fairly skeletal, as I prefer to plot out details with a partner, rather than come up with everything ahead of time.

Slave Auction (Science Fiction)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
In a little known station on the fringe of known space, eight slaves are about to be auctioned off. Some of them might have committed crimes that landed them in this situation, while others were kidnapped from their lives because someone thought they were desirable. Wherever they came from, each of them has been warned repeatedly that they are to fetch a high price today, or they will be punished severely. The auction is for an exclusive clientele, some of the most powerful people in the sector, and they will expect obedience and grace. As your character is forced into a cell to be examined before the event begins, she notes several men who look like they know what they are doing. One of the other girls whispers that they are regulars. They come in, buy a girl, and a few months later, they are back, having gotten bored with their last purchase and disposed of her. Since escape is impossible, her only hope of avoiding such a fate is to find a master who will actually care for her. When my character comes in, she instantly identifies him as such a person. He is both enticed and uncomfortable by what he sees around him. Now all she has to do is convince him to purchase her.

The Cat Burglar (Modern)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
In an alternate present, the extremely rich make the laws. The rest of the population has little choice to but to accept whatever wishes they express. Your character has decided to buck the system and make her own fate. Over the last few years, she has made a name for herself as perhaps the most successful burglar in the world. She steals a small fortune from her targets, then distributes it as she sees fit. She's been successful enough that she is starting to believe she is invincible, until my character strikes. When she tries to rob a party my character is holding, she finds herself caught in a trap, collared, and claimed as the legal property of her would-be victim. At first, she is defiant, but over time, she realizes there is a part of her that enjoys this sort of thing. She tries to rationalize it to herself, thinking that if she can catch her new master's ear, she might be able to do more for the public than she could have simply stealing.

Enslaved Investigation (Modern)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
In a corrupt world, slavery has become an increasingly popular punishment. It started out as a punishment for high crimes, but as it took off, judges started to order sentences of temporary slavery (usually for five years or so). In recent days, they have even started sentencing those with particular high debts to slavery. Your character is a reporter who believes there is a corrupt circle of officials who are framing individuals for crimes, sentencing them to slavery, and accepting a handsome kickback from their owners. When she starts to get too close to the truth, she suddenly finds herself framed for embezzling from her company. She is promptly sentenced to six years of slavery and put up for auction. Your character knows exactly how these things work out. No matter how compliant she is, she will be found guilty of resisting her sentencing, which will extend her slavery, and she will likely die in chains. Her only hope is to find an owner who will not only give her a fair chance, but will allow her to continue her investigation. If she can prove her story is correct, her sentence can be overturned, and all this can be undone. She only knows one person wealthy enough to buy her who might allow her to continue her work. The new owner of her company is wealthy beyond words, and she has caught him looking at her when he didn't think she was looking. Still, she knows that even if he can be persuaded to buy her, it won't strictly be for the goodness of his heart. She will have to prove her obedience as a slave, even while working to escape her fate.

A Vampire's Collar (Modern Fantasy)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
All the horrors we learn about as children are frightfully real. Werewolves, vampires, and other such things have been terrorizing humanity since the dawn of time, but they have always been kept in check by hunters. In modern times, these hunters are organized, and most of them are taught at a secret facility called the Forge. My character is a newly accepted hunter apprentice, who will spend the next four years learning how to fight back the supernatural and protect the innocent. But when he arrives at the Forge, he finds that not everything is exactly as he expected. Hunters kill monsters, but sometimes they select different fate for their prey. Because of the demanding nature of the training, each hunter is assigned a vampire who was captured at least fifty years ago. During that time, the vampire has been denied real blood, and instead given a substitute that keeps them weak and docile. The vampire has had a lifetime of training to know that obedience avoids pain, while even the slightest failure invites it. No vampire ever has two masters, as when their hunter graduates, their final test is to slay their slave. Not only is my character shocked to learn that he is to be given a vampire slave as part of his training, he is even more surprised to learn that he is drawn to her. Given the horrors she has endured, she doesn't seem frightening. She seems like the sort of person he should be protecting. Over time, he starts offering her kindness, perhaps even letting her sample his blood once trust is earned. Will their relationship develop to the point that he will risk everything to try to escape with her?

Sidekick (Modern Superhero)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Superheroics are a tightly regulated industry. Heroes are trained by top people, assigned an area to protect, and new heroes are assigned mentors to teach them what to expect. Your character is a newly graduated heroine, one of the rare legacies in the program. Her parents were both heroes as well, until they retired. As a result of her legacy status, she is assigned a high-priority district, and given a particularly high ranking hero as her mentor. Even as it appears that everything is coming together for her, she encounters two twists that complicate her new life. The first is that she is drawn to her mentor, and he seems drawn to her as well. Relationships with sidekicks isn't forbidden, but it is rare. The second, more serious problem, is that her family had enemies who are still around. Her parents frequently fought against a man named Mr. Fix, and while the original Mr. Fix is dead, his son is alive and well, and he knows everything his father did and more. When she starts to patrol, he is there, waiting to spring a trap. When she tries to act in her civilian life, he is waiting as well. Every time they clash, Mr. Fix ends up in a position where he could kill her, but he simply leaves her captive for a while. The game of tormenting her, making her guess when he will strike next, seems far more appealing to him than simple murder.

The Genie (Fantasy)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
The rogue mage Alistair spent more than half his life trying to obtain a ring that promised his every wish would be fulfilled. According to the lore, the ring would give him possession of a genie, who would obey his every wish. He imagined a smokey, massive creature that could make him young again, give him a mountain of treasure, and enhance his power with magic. When he finally obtained the ring, it wasn't what he expected. The ring could indeed summon a genie, but she was a lovely woman who professed to have no particular power of her own. She had no magic in the conventional sense, but she was bound by a powerful spell. Whoever wore the ring could order her to do anything, and she would be compelled to obey, within her human limits. Her master could change her attire or wish her into different bindings, but she could not provide wealth or immortality. Her only supernatural abilities were immortality and instant healing. Alistair was too old and bitter to have any use for a pleasure slave, so he used his final days torturing the genie, convinced she had power deep within her that he simply had to dig to tap into. She suffered injuries that should have killed her daily, but the ring kept her healthy. Finally, Alistair passed, without a son of his own, his possessions fell to his nephew. The wizard's nephew has no ability or interest in magic, and has devoted his life to protecting others. When the genie finds herself passed on to her new owner, she expects to be tortured once again. Instead, the knight cares for her and earns her trust, until eventually they start to explore the submissive nature of her existence together.

A Collared Heroine (Fandom, DC or Marvel)

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
This one isn't nearly as developed as the others, as a lot of the details would depend on a partner. I'd love to do a story in either the Marvel or DC universe (or a mix of both) where a heroine is overpowered by one of her enemies. Rather than try to kill her, her rival instead tries to tame her. The idea of shaping someone like her into his possession has an undeniable appeal to her captor. He is certain that she would start out defiant, but as time went on, perhaps she could be shaped, even acting as his enforcer during the day, but his devoted slave in the evening.

"You fight for the wizard?" Black Adam

"I fight for those who can't fight for themselves." Superman
