The World Reimagined (M Seeking F for potentially dark themed romance)

Genre: Fantasy/Sci-fi, Modern.
Themes: Forbidden Romance, BDSM (more BD than SM), Rebellion, Exhibition, Secrecy, Corruption , Dub-con (possibly later on).
Characters: Any Fantasy Races.
Background: The story would take place in a version of the modern world, but in this world there was an event thousands of years ago that lead the the many races that occupy the earth now. They live amongst one another, but much like the real world there is tension between the races at times that leads to political and personal discord.
Story:

The story would be fairly drawn out and covering multiple time periods throughout the lives of two particular characters. It begins during summer camp in the last year before both characters would be going off to their respective colleges. They're both working as counsellors, in part because they wanted to get away for the summer and because it looks good on their applications. They're from two different worlds in a sense, he is a Aen Elle (A High Born Elf) while she is an Anthro/Human (seen as a cursed species by some, but a growing and budding culture within their world or any other race if you don't want to be Anthro). The two start out with a friendly sort of rivalry at camp, engaging in banter and pitting their groups of campers against one another for friendly sport. This rivalry blossoms into young love and passion, which is short lived because they know when summer ends they have to return to their normal lives and the pressures of "society".

They're both resigned to forget one another, even though that seems utterly impossible. It's years later when they cross paths again, secretly they've both always kept tabs on the other in the hopes of rekindling something. They meet shortly after graduating from their respective schools, they're both living in the same city, working on their careers etc. They meet at a party where they've both been invited by their dates, but when they meet again will sparks fly or will it just be fun to reminisce? How have they changed? How have their appetites changed?
