The portal to … where we choose.

Content:

Saw this picture and it reminded me of how much I live to go where imagination carries. Who are we? Where do we go through the portal? When do we want to be there?

Scenario:

A pair, a group, a herd? Humans or anthros or angels or demons or monsters or … We choose to enter the portal. We believe it will carry us someplace specific. Yet does it? And wherever we land, what do we do there? Do we return? Or maybe we take a walk as Corwin does in Zelazny’s Amber. What’s around the next corner? How much is that where we seek and what do we imagine the next turn will bring us?

Setting:

A meadow with the portal at the far end.

Requirements:

Several well-written posts per week that move the plot forward.

Other:

Could be sublime, could be scatological. Where have we never been that we would like to explore? I’ve written these before elsewhere. Watched as the primordial turtle gave birth to the earth. Scenario:

Contemporary or Speculative Future (SF) if we feel inventive.

Setting:

Begins at their doorway, she is approaching with trepidation yet resolve. These pictures from  The Swedish Gentleman inspire me.

Desirements:

Several well-written posts per week that move the plot forward. Attention to post appearance. Descriptive, few if any pictures.

Other:
