Hi all:

I finally reentered the world of mobile devices today by buying an IPhone 7. Why not go for the biggest and bestous? toy on the market?

The simple answer is that I don't need the newest and shiniest model... and there was a promotion from Verizon that cut the cost of the phone by $200 and a local store promotion that reduced the monthly payment by $9, so I'm just paying $5 a month for 24 months and it's all mine... Mine! Mine! Mine! muhahaha!

Ok, back to my Dr. Jeckle side, sorry.

Anyway, the touch screen's sensitivity is way, way too sensitive for my fingers; I breathe on the thing and something opens up. With quivering hands from a medication that I have to take, it's difficult for me to not tap something that I'm not trying to tap, then getting back is... well frustrating.

I did a search and the instructions that I got said:

1. Tap on Settings.
2. Tap on General.
3. Tap on Accessibility.
4. Tap on 3dTouch.
5. Slide up or down for adjustment.

Step 1, no problem, step 2 had slightly more effort, but no issues. Step 3, no problem, on my way (Note, the instructions said that the accessibility option was at the bottom of the screen, but on my phone, it's about a third of the way down from the top)

Anyway, everything going good... then it falls apart... There's no 3D touch option. None, nada, zip, zero, do not pass go, etc.

Another search for why I don't have a 3D touch option resulted in a butt load of changing 3D touch, 3D touch not working, 3D touch not turning off... but not a one for what do I do if I don't have a 3D touch option!!!

For reference, the IOS is 11 and I saw that the 3D touch has gone bye-bye in IOS 12, but that doesn't do me a bit of good.

So... help? Can someone either tell me how to find the thing, do the adjustment without the option or which tree that I should be barking up since this one seems to be dead and dropping limbs on my head.

Found the 3D touch option, all the websites lied, it's not under accessibility, but under General.

Anyway, got it fixed and doing much better. Now, if I could just get the swipe and flipping flips figured out. Mine don't seem to work very well.
