They are the most renowned & celebrated heroes in the world, they are the Seven.
In a world where Superheroes are privatized and the center of a massive, multi-billion dollar industry stands Vought International. The company holds a near absolute monopoly on the superhero market, strictly controlling their brand by any means necessary. Sometimes this involves threats to sue someone who might undermine their stars, sometimes it involves discretely covering up the actions of their heroes. That's the thing about the Seven. Most famous & powerful superheroes on the planet they may be but good people? Not so much. Untouchable rockstars with all manner of secrets, debauched pass times or just plain deep rooted personal issues. At least they make bank.

I am looking to start an RP based on (or at least very heavily inspired) by 'The Boys' series (both the show & comics). This RP will initially focus on 'The Seven' and Vought International. This is intended to be a long term game designed for players interested in world-building and plot development.

Do I need to have read the comics/watched the show?
No. So long as you can understand the general concept. A massive corporation uses Superheroes as a product, making them the center of a wide spread media empire. Superheroes save the day but are prone to all manner of mischief

Will you be 'GMing' the story?
To an extent. This is a collaborative narrative and anyone who wishes to participate will be expected to contribute to the overall experience. I will set up a Discord chat everyone will be required to join, we use it to keep in contact, plot events, organise and world build but I will not be GMing in the traditional sense. I will be more of a first among equals who might nudge things along or take the lead as we get started.

Do I have to play as a member of the Seven? Can I play one of the Boys?
The Boys will be introduced later. For now my primary concern is building a healthy roster of characters revolving around the Seven & Vought International.

The game will be broken up into two types of threads. "Plot threads" which will focus on the main plot and "General threads" which will be open/sandbox RP in the setting. You may wish to play a character who has no direct involvement in the main plot and takes part strictly in the general threads, this is perfectly acceptable. I might advise keeping in mind whatever character you decide to play will still need to be someone with a reason to interact with the rest of the roster (which will likely be the Seven and the executives/ranking members of Vought International) but you are free to explore options. The character sheet will aim to be quick & easy so taking up smaller, less important or 'for fun' characters should be viable.

Very very interested. The more depraved the better. I haven't seen the show but I hear it's more tone downed than Ennis' source material. There's more than enough to mine from for something nice and decadent though!
My character and plot repository

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to chat about my or your characters, plots, your work or anything that interests you.

Bibliophilia

I love the idea and have been planning to watch the show, so I'd love to get involved.  I was a huge fan of Watchmen, and this feels somewhat similar, at least in terms of heroes that aren't necessarily white hats.

Bibliophilia

Wasn't sure if you wanted these by PM or here in the thread.  If you want me to take her down, just let me know!  Still working on the last two sections, both of which will probably need to wait until there's more info about the other characters and such.

Character: Talia Zolotov | "Lady Latex"
Player: Bibliophilia

Role: Member of The Seven
Powers/Special abilities:

  • Body Manipulation - Talia can alter the density, elasticity, fluidity and malleability of her physical form.  She can become as viscous as pudding, or as hard and impermeable as solid steel.  This ability doesn't allow for mass manipulation, though, so she remains the same volume and mass no matter what state she is in.  In both her extremely dense and gel-like forms she becomes more difficult to injure, but at the core her anatomy remains human and thus can be damaged and even killed.
  • Camouflage - Talia's absolute control over her form on an atomic level allows her to control the color, texture and light absorption of her cells.  As a result, she can perfectly mimic her surroundings, blending seamlessly into the background.  This power becomes less effective on the move, and it doesn't mask her body heat or the electrical signals that can be picked up by certain tech or powers.
  • Shapeshifting - Another handy advantage of her absolute body control lies in the ability to alter her shape and appearance to virtually anything or anyone (as long as their make-up consists of living, organic matter - not including plants).  She retains the same mass, however, so she might be able to take on the physical form, coloring and characteristics of a common house cat, but it would be a house cat the size of a full grown adult woman.  The alterations - while genetically exact - are only physical and do not impart any knowledge or powers of their original.

Personality:

  • Capricious - Perhaps a side-effect of her inconstant physical state, Talia's emotional and mental state can be described as mercurial at best, and unstable at worst.  Ever restless and seemingly incapable of contentment, she oten finds reasons to inject a little excitement into any moment she deems dull or grim.  This might merely come in the form of a few snide jokes used to provoke an argument, or grand theft auto for a short joyride.  Her unpredictability might seem thrilling at first, but it grows tiring when one can not judge from one moment to the next if she will kiss or claw, smile or sob.
  • Generous - For the ultimate material girl, Talia isn't terribly materialistic.  Well, she is, but she takes just as much pleasure from sharing the wealth as she does from having it.  Whether it's splitting a muffin with a friend, donating thousands to charity or splurging on a vacation weekend for herself and her lover, she never thinks twice about sharing what she has with others.
  • Passionate - Whatever Talia does, she invests all of herself to it.  This can be both a good and bad thing, as sometimes her intensity can lead her to take unnecessary risks, or to harm others inadvertently (or vertently).  Still, her passion also means that she is dogged in her pursuit of her goals, willing to go to any lengths to see a mission through.  And it definitely doesn't hurt when it comes to her personal life.

History:

  • Born March 3rd, 1995 in Samara, Russia to a member of the Samaran police force and his wife.  She was the third of 5 children and the only girl.  Their home was relatively happy, though her mother was often tired and didn't have the energy to extend the optimal amount of attentiveness to each child.  Her older brothers, twins Alexei and Filip, were six years older than her and ignored her when they weren't mercilessly teasing her or pulling her braids.  When her younger brothers were born, Talia was expected to help her mother with the second set of twins along with the housework and tending to the small herd of goats she raised.
  • Talia's powers didn't begin manifesting until she was about 14, triggered by the adrenal chaos of puberty.
Their development was gradual, and Talia was too frightened at first to reveal what was happening to her.  She feared that the strange things she could suddenly make her body do were all in her head and if she tried to show her parents, they wouldn't see anything different.  The thought of winding up in a 'nuthouse' like the ones she had seen in movies terrified her, so she kept what was happening to her a secret.  But, of course, the secret got out when she unintentionally lost cellular cohesion in the middle of a classroom lecture.  The sight of their classmate sneezing and suddenly turning into a puddle inside of her clothing traumatized the other students quite badly, she imagines.
  • She came to be a part of The Seven due to the fact that her father has since risen up the ranks of the Samaran police force and she has proven herself quite the asset for a company looking to bank on a superhero brand.  Her powers are flashy and handy, her face is cash money and she is well-connected.  Plus, as long as she's given plenty of things to keep her entertained, she doesn't put up too much of a fuss for her handlers.

Relationships/Connections:

  • For about a month following her promotion to The Seven, Talia and Warden were involved in a sexual relationship, however she broke it off when it was discretely suggested to her by the VP that the relationship might prove detrimental to her career.  They still occasionally hook up, but for the most part their interactions revolve around Talia pushing Warden's buttons when she is bored, and the two treating one another with mutual respect and near seamless cooperation on the field and in front of the cameras.
  • TBD
  • TBD

Secrets/Gossip:

  • Talia's father effectively 'sold' his newborn child to Vought International in order to further his own career.
While Talia's mother was still pregnant, he approached a man rumored to be able to help him see his ambitions of power and money come true for a price.  The price turned out to be his unborn daughter, or at least her genetic make-up.  In return for agreeing to let VI inject her with Compound V and bringing her in for regular 'check-ups' over the course of her childhood, the movers and shakers behind the company ensured Officer Zolotov swiftly rose through the ranks to head the entire police department with a future mayoral election in his pocket.
  • There are plenty of rumors floating around about Talia's love life, including many suggestions that she often shifts into the shape of other people in order to engage in risky or 'deviant' sexual behaviors.  There are even those who claim to have been involved in such practices, and describe various fetishistic acts she was supposedly involved in, including; splitting into two versions of herself and engaging in a threesome, turning into animals and morphing into a man.  There have been a few women who claimed to have been impregnated by a male-morphed Talia, but all such claims have been categorically proven false.

Posting up here is perfectly fine! You can also feel free to be a bit self indulgent with powers. This RP will very much be a co-operative narrative & it's more about the train wrecks we're playing as than "reasonable & fair powers" so long as you don't want to be capable of annilating anyone else on the Seven or reality warping-esque.

Any apps should leave the "relationship" section blank. That can be filled in later once the PCs are generated.

I'm at work now so I can't really elaborate but I'll add a few bits to clear up character guidelines, especially relating to Compound V.

Bibliophilia

Oh, good!  -grins.-  I definitely am not holding back on her powers.  I just like incorporating flaws and leaving them open to developing further in-game.  So, eventually she might be able to alter her mass/split/multiply ect.  And she might even find a way to alter her atomic make-up and turn into who knows what.  Or even take on a gaseous form.

For now, though, she feels powerful enough and it'll be fun playing the mess of personalities with superpowers.  -snicker.-

Primarch

Sounds good to me. I'll get my own character up tonight, should make for an example to any others who are interested.

Primarch

Hey guys, my own character is on the way. I just wanted to drop a few points I thought might be worth keeping in mind.

  • Compound V - Compound V is slightly different in the comics & show. In the Amazon series Compound V is responsible for all superheroes, after being used to treat newborns resulting in powers manifesting later. In the comics Compound V can have varying effects depending on the quality taken or how it is taken. We will assume only Vought International have access to 'the good stuff' for high level, permanent abilities that outclass anybody without access to the good stuff. If your character is in The Seven, they have been treated (knowingly or unknowingly) with Compound V. As in both the comics & show, incorrect use of Compound V can lead to addiction or lethal overdose, just like a serious narcotic.
  • Marketability - Your character may not be a PG person, they may not have a PG origin story. What is important however is that Vought International can market you, this means anyone on their roster would need to be presentable to a modern US audience. No matter how tough or devil may care or simply a badass your character might be, everyone on the Seven plays ball for Vought International (or they quickly find themselves being not on the Seven, and on Vought International's shit list) and the writing department will prepare a narrative to be presented to be media.

Bibliophilia

Primarch, should I tweak Talia's history to include mention of her being treated with Compound V?  And, if so, why would a newborn be treated with it?  Is it a medicine of some kind, or just your average experimental drug being tested on newborns to see if it can bring about superpowers?

Primarch

You don't need to directly reference it, though you most certainly can. We'll take it for granted she was treated with Compound V. The only thing I would say is that if she was treated with Compound V as an infant you can assume her parents consented to it. They likely never said anything to her about it as Compound V is a very closely guarded secret and its all the better for the mystique of heroes if people believe its naturally occurring instead of "we inject babies with drugs."

But yes, in the show Compound V is just a blue liquid they pump into newborns, later they grow up and develop powers.

Bibliophilia

Yeah, that fits with her father and the whole vaguely nefarious vibe I wanted him to have.  -snicker.-  It'll be fun playing her figuring out that the hell she went through in puberty was Daddy's fault.

Whee...daddy issues!

Character: The Warden
Player: Primarch

Role: The Seven
Powers/Special abilities:

  • Enhanced Physical Attributes: The Warden possesses tremendous superhuman physical attributes to the point that he blatantly outclasses any superhuman not associated with the Seven. This includes his physical strength, speed, durability, stamina, senses & reflexes. While all of his physical capabilities are very high superhuman caliber it is his physical strength that is particularly impressive. It is generally accepted that he is the physically strongest entity alive, to the point that Vought International have been unable to quantify his upper limit. He appears to be functionally indestructible, experiences no discomfort underwater, in space or in any other 'hostile environment' and he does not appear to actually require any form of rest or sustenance, though he will still occasionally indulge. Should something be found that can injure him in any significant way, his body will heal remarkably quickly.
  • Gaelic Magic: Warden does not 'perform magic' in any sense, he does not know spells and he cannot perform incantations. That being said he most certainly has access to some form of energy and an ability to control the elements that is poorly understood at best. As the scientists that treated him as an infant selected him due to his potential status as a 'Chosen one' the writing team spin this as 'magic.' Regardless of what it is, certain things seem to happen to augment actions he performs. This appears to manifest in the form of a golden energy often emanating from his eyes or forming the image of an appropriate animal around his person depending on an action he is performing. When running one might be able to perceive a wolf running in time with his motions, or when lifting something it might take the shape of a bear. He has also been known to cause instances of the elements to manifest, a punch might cause the boom of thunder or his fist might momentarily catch fire. When flying he might becoming surrounded by wind (or the shape of a golden bird might appear over his form). His mood also appears to be capable of influencing local weather, certainly storms have been known to manifest (or threaten to) when he is angry, or it might rain when he is upset. That being said when he's in a good mood, you can count on good weather!
  • Flight: Warden can fly under his own power. While it will sometimes he augmented by his 'Gaelic magic' it is ultimately something he can do regardless of it. His flight speed is significantly beyond his ground running speed and fast faster than the human eye can follow though even at full speed he is not as fast as a fully fledged 'Speedster.'

Personality:

  • Gregarious: Warden is a larger than life gregarious individual who simply oozes charisma. When he laughs it comes across as a very genuine and almost infectious laugh While its impressive to watch him lift a sinking oil tanker out of the ocean, its almost more impressive to watch him work a room of people with one of his signature cigars hanging from his mouth. Quite simply people like being around him and generally he likes to be around then. Men want to be him & women want to be with him, actually these days just as many men want to be with him and women want to be him.
  • Proud: While he might play the role of 'humble' for the media, he's not. Warden is tremendously proud of who he is and his achievements. He's proud of the Seven and encourages them in a way one might expect a big brother too (for younger members of the Seven at least). Long since media trained, he will generally do as Vought request but he has been known to chase under certain media events or spins on his narrative when he wants to go in a different direction and doesn't get what he wants.
  • Fierce: Friendly and charming as he can be in front of the camera's and with company he enjoys, when pushed too far or when he believes someone is trying to undermine or threaten himself or the Seven he can become intensely aggressive. Warden thinks nothing of using savage violence or even murder to protect his 'bread & butter.'
History:

  • Throughout the 80's researchers in the EU branch of Vought International started researching an ancient Irish Gael prophecy for a 'Chosen One' or Child of Destiny type figure, curious to see if such an individual might make for a viable (or even superior) Superhero candidate. By tracking the prophecy and key family bloodlines they eventually sourced a viable candidate. In Ireland a single expecting mother gave birth to her child in a Catholic hospital. The local Nuns & Priests intended to pressure the woman into giving her child up for adoption, believing a single woman having a child out of wedlock was no suitable parent, while a well to do Catholic couple were willing to adopt. Vought International intercepted, bought the child from the Church and prepared a research facility in the rural countryside where they would not be disturbed. Thus Conor became a ward of Vought International.
  • Conor was treated with Compound V immediately and spent the first four years of his life in the research facility. As he had not displayed any signs of superpowers it was arranged that he would be raised by a young & recently married scientist and his wife. From there Conor enjoyed a relatively normal youth though his medical check ups happened under the close eye of Vought International. It was not until his early teenage years that his body started undergoing rapid biological changes that boosted the capabilities of his physiology in almost unprecedented ways. He was immediately relocated to the research facility where he would spend the next few years undergoing testing and being prepared for life as a superhero on the Vought International roster. When the small facility hidden in Ireland could no longer meet their needs, Conor was relocated to the USA and Vought International's primary facilities.
  • While originally it was intended that Conor (now presented to the media under the name 'The Warden') would join a junior team and gain some experience, his capabilities far exceeded what was expected and at age 20 he became the youngest member of The Seven to date. For the last sixteen years he has been operating as a staple part of the Vought brand, saving the day, showing his face for the camera and in general becoming one of the most famous people on the planet. As of 2010 he has dropped any attempt at a civilian life and now exists solely as 'The Warden' (or just Warden).

Relationships/Connections:

Secrets/Gossip:

  • Warden has occasionally expressed interest in meeting his biological parents and Vought psychiatrist's have noted what appears to be a deeply rooted desire to gain their acceptance and understand why he was given up for adoption. Currently he believes there are no records of who his birth mother was. What he does not know is that Vought have located his mother and keep her under surveillance, should he ever threaten to go rogue she might be a viable means of control.
  • Warden appears to have an appetite for famous women, particularly actresses. While occasionally encounters can be arranged it has led to several hush money payments and the signing of NDA's. The internet has long gossiped about his romantic status and association with Hollywood's elite dames. Perhaps the most complicated element, Warden has fathered a child by one actress, though this has been kept from the media. Currently the legal teams associated with both individuals believe it is best Warden keeps his distance, though he has recently been angling for contact.
  • And I will leave one open for later.....

I like him a lot, Primarch.  -nodnod.-  I'm tweaking Talia a bit, and will be adding in the Compound V thing as one of her secrets.  I also am workshopping her hero name.  That might change depending on if I can come up with something I like more.

Hey guys, if it is in any way helpful there is a link here for the wiki dedicated to 'The Boys,' I believe it addresses both the comics & show:

On a related note, I saw this earlier, seems the show is doing well for those who haven't watched it:

Brittlby

Character: Amber Cassidy a.k.a. Countess Countless
Player: Brittlby

Role: Intern(s)
Powers/Special abilities:

  • Multiplicity - Amber is able to fracture off copies of herself. Mentally identical to their counterpart at the time of creation, there can be a great deal of variance between Amber’s depending upon the duration they have spent apart and the traumas/experiences they’ve had.

It is uncertain how many copies she can produce at one time and it is further assumed that Voight keeps at least one constantly training at a private facility as a redundancy measure.

  • Hive Mind - While the Amber’s can have distinctive personalities, experiences and injuries, they are all connected subconsciously by a neural network. Whatever skills or information one Amber knows, so do the others.

  • Sunday Finest - Amber has some modest control over the physical condition of her duplicates. She can choose the age and fitness (within human limits) of her fractures.

Personality:

  • Chipper - Despite the variance between Amber’s, the Countess Countless is always cheerful. This no doubt stems from her upbringing in supers pageants and cheerleading, the key to success is keeping a smile on her face!

  • Ambitious - Amber is generous and thoughtful and kind in general. She always has been. But some of her former acquaintances might describe her as an opportunist. Accidents seem to happen to her competitors and there are rumors she will do just about anything to get ahead.

If working with Vought and the Seven has taught her anything, you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and your knees scraped to be a hero.

  • Fearless - Amber isn’t invulnerable or super humanly strong but her unusual state of being has given her a “unique” perspective in regards to her own mortality.

History:
Amber was raised by loving parents... 7 sets of them. Originally a Vought experiment with cloning technology, testing both the long term veracity of the process, as well as the effect of various upbringings upon personality. Monitored from a distance, Karen Hull, Lacey Remington, Linda Arnold, Amber Cassidy, Carly Joy Potter, Meghan Greene and Priscilla Kilmer seemed like normal, healthy young women.

More interested in the viability of the cloning process than psychological effects, once the Cuckoo Birds had reached 7 years of age without medical issues, monitoring them became a lesser priority... until one morning two years later when only one of the children woke up.

Though she was never informed as to why the Vought scientists suddenly took a renewed interest in her, Amber knew. In psychological tests she was able to demonstrate skills and information only the other siblings would know.

It wasn’t until a month into testing that they came to realize that wasn’t the extent of her oddities. During a lights out roll call, she was discovered playing with an exact duplicate of herself in her cell.

Further study was performed though her parents began to apply substantial legal pressure on Vought. Rather than deal with the negative publicity or pay to have them erased, they magnanimously allowed her to return to her family... it was a win win situation given that they already had a couple spares for further testing.

Once her parents discovered that she was a superhuman, they began to support her via Superheroine pageants, martial arts classes and college preparatory tutors. She graduated top of her class with a wall of cheerleading, gymnastics and pageant trophies.

After so many failed tryouts, Vought at last extended her an interview during her Junior year in college. She left a duplicate of herself on campus to finish her communications major and accepted the internship.

Despite not being one of the Seven herself, she acts a support staff and has developed a following of her own as one can almost always count on finding an Amber at the side of upper level Vought executives or even some of the Seven.

Relationships/Connections:

Secrets/Gossip:

  • They say Amber has a rogue duplicate running around with a propensity for corporate terrorism. If accurate, she has had the decency to keep her face out of the paper.

  • There is supposedly an “Amber Prime” who refuses to let nature take its course. She supposedly harvests organs and vitality from younger clones to keep herself alive.

  • Amber Cassidy first appears in the public records around 1957, her name and social security number filled out on an timesheet for Vought Medical. The information on the document claims she was 16 years of age at the time, which would make her almost 80 years old.

Primarch

Not gonna lie, I didn't actually expect someone to take up an intern.

But that's three characters up!

BlueEyedBard

Hey there, I'm still working out secrets and such, but I wanted to make sure this character would fit well.

Character: Luka Vasylyk "Spitfire"
Player: Blueeyedbard

Role: Member of the 7
Powers/Special abilities:

  • Pyrokinesis- Luka has the ability to manipulate, manifest, and maintain fire: from what he creates himself, to any flame he can see within reasonable distance. This power extends from growing the smallest spark into a raging inferno within the blink of an eye, to reducing a raging forest fire back into the cigarette it bloomed from, while making the flames dance the Cha Cha the entire time. The further the visible flame is away, the more concentration it takes to control it. The company scientists that have studied this ability have not determined its full extent, but Luka believes he could put out the sun, if he really wanted to.
  • Pyromaniac- Attracting flames, and generating them from his body, means his skin is naturally heat resistant. But along with that, he seems to be cold resistant as well, being that he's always hot. To the extent that even in the coldest climates he can act as a living furnace. This has even been found effective in water: unlike a flame, which would be doused under a lake, Luka has been observed to steam away an Olympic sized swimming pool before getting wet, and never had an issue with breathing during the process.
  • Jet-Back- Focusing the flames to his feet, and legs he can use the explosive energy to propel forward, even fly. Focusing the fire in his hands can help to control himself in the air, but it still can tend to be a destructive and unpredictable mode of transport.
  • An On Fire Suit?- When Luka really starts heating up, his whole body will appear to be encased in flames. Even hotter and it can be hard to see him within the flames at all, appearing more like the blue outline of a body than an actual person. When he's at his hottest there's no real way to see him in the center, just a white hot point of ignition.
Personality:

  • Angsty - Every team needs their dark and moody member, and Luka has enough attitude to spare. When marketing needs a "bad boy" Luka has that moody smoulder. When the public wants a "rebel without a cause,'' he'll be wearing a leather jacket and cruising off on his motorcycle.  But when the public needs a savior, he'll be there with the rest of the team to burn away everything but justice...vehicles, buildings, and people included.
  • Guarded - His past isn't a topic Luka likes to get into, at all. Not when his friends ask, or his teammates seem curious, but especially when the press tries to dig in. Luka can start getting really fired up when someone puts a camera in his face and asks "How do your parents…?" So much so, that marketing came up with their own "official story" to give the media, and Luka is just fine with playing ball using a fabricated history… even if he doesn't know it very well himself.
  • Devil Don't Care... - and neither does Luka. Take out laid back and carefree,  and leave the reckless daredevil, and you pretty much have the fiery member of the 7 in a nutshell. Diving head first into most situations, property be damned, may get him in trouble with the officials from time to time. But the kids love it.

History:

  • The son of an undocumented, Ukrainian prostitute, who was approached by Vought International during her pregnancy, Luka had been receiving Compound V treatments from the day he was born. The mother hadn't been a hard sell for the company: homeless, addicted to drugs, and pregnant, she was quick to accept any deal that got her off the street and put some money in her pocket. Especially when said job was as easy as live in your new apartment until your baby is born, then bring it to a special facility for check ups every week. It was a very easy living situation for her and her son, until she began to notice unusual and violent mood swings the older her son got. Eventually even a former addict and ex-prostitute will worry about her child, and eventually she decided her son wouldn't be seeing those doctors again, even if it meant losing their apartment...
  • When the doctors from the facility arrived at their apartment door, the morning of his twelfth birthday, to tell Luka that his mother had abandoned him and fled the country, the boy had his most violent reaction to date. Official reports say it was faulty wiring in the building that caused the fire, but really the level of heat recoded had made an investigation very difficult. Fortunately everyone in the building made it out alive, and the apartment where the fire started was currently unoccupied, being that it was on reserve by the Vought organization to house traveling employees.
  • The biggest issue noted for Luka was an "attitude problem", but his powers developed better than researchers could have hoped and his control of them seemed to be right on par with that development. He even seemed mostly amicable when they would send him on small missions, or "field tests", to see how he handled being a hero. The only time there was an issue was afterward, when someone got in his face about their car getting melted, or the rest of their house getting burned down when he stepped in to save someone inside, or especially when a reporter started asking too many personal  questions. But just like the public loved James Dean and his attitude, they also quickly grew fond of the bad boy, superhero. It was a unanimous decision that as a member of the 7, he would get the kind of exposure that would boost his publicity, while also being around enough high level supers to keep him in check.

Relationships/Connections:

Secrets/Gossip:

  • There are rumors that Luka has a drinking problem, even that he has been spotted riding his motorcycle while drunk. But none of these reports have been substantiated and no arrest records exist to back up any such rumors.
  • While Luka has never made any notable attempts to seek out his mother who abandoned him, an investigative report once implied that the Vought corporation may have had a hand in her "disappearance". One lawsuit for libel and slander, later, and such rumors have never managed to see print again.
