Bio : Elizabeth was raised in a more urban town. The daughter of a maidservent. Elizabeth had some access to luxuries, like books and reading. She was very intrigued by stories and general lore. She wasn't smart enough to study first hand, but she prefered to experience such things.

She attempted to join a mage's college when she realized she had magical capabilities. However, her whimsical and carefree attitude quickly ended up with her slacking upon her duties as an initiate in the mage's college.

Ellie always prefered to do things upfront. She'd rather experince a story than read one. She'd rather go off and see a magical duel than read about how to perform such things.

Ellie would eventually do her own small adventures. Relying on her strength and letting her magic bloom upon it's own. She has the mindset of a bard in how to experince the world and interact with others, but she has the zeal and strength of a a paladin.

However, she is quite clumsy. To say she has a cat's curosity is understatement. She often stumbles into trouble. It's extremely likely that the party stumbled into the portal because she couldn't back away from examining it.

Yukina

Cute lamia, Ryu. :) (Ellie and Mavis could be great friends as contrasting studybugs.)

Elizabeth owo
I don't see Oracles getting Eschew Materials, not that you will need or use it with SoP, but it's not there.

Anyways, I'm loving sheets so far. A starting point may get moved a little but I'm really looking forward to starting the game with all of you.

let's set a
Subbmission deadline for 08-05, so everyone who has a submission to finish up will have 2 weekends to do so

Ryu Wojin

Hmm. Don't know where I thought about oracles getting eschew materials but you are right about it not really mattering.

@HalfTime: I may be missing something but shouldn't you have 9 skill points, 4 from class, 2 from in INT, 1 from FCB, and 2 from background skills.
Thanks for catching that, that was a goof on my part. I'm really liking the other apps so far, can't wait to see what else people come up with.

Name: Ayreth Sky-Hunter
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Barbarian
Age: 19
Quick Stats
STR 18 DEX 14 CON 18 INT 7 WIS 10 CHA 12
Hit Points: 16 | Armor Class: 17 | Combat Maneuver Defense: 17 | FOR: 6 REF 3 WIL 2
Speed: 40' | Initiative: +4 | Melee Attack Bonus: +5 | Range Attack Bonus +3 | Combat Maneuver Bonus: +5
Feat: Power Attack
traits: Elven Reflexes, Deft Dodger, Noble Savage
Drawback: Oblivious

Bio: In the deep wilderness of the Aounne Jungle, one must always be on guard against invading hobgoblins, rampaging dinosaurs, and mosquitos who will carry off your children. Another worry, apparently, is getting wooed by hapless human explorers. And this is how Ayreth happened to be born into the Skyhunter tribe of wild elves. According to the elders, she inherited her mother's looks, her father's brains, and the strength of the dinosaur they rode in on. She's pretty sure this is a compliment. Owing to her foreign blood, she grew faster and taller than her fellows, and her valiant spirit and indomitable zest for adventure soon led the village elders to conduct a JourneyQuest for her; go off to the Far Far Lands, fight valiantly, and return with glory and thousands of tales! Ameryth, another pretty elf in the village who liked the taste of Ayreth's papaya said they were just trying to get rid of her, but Ayreth knew the elders would never be so deceitful. She rose to the challenge and set off to find glory and bring back those thousands of tales.

So far she's only got ninety tales or so. She thinks. Counting isn't her strong suit. But winning glory, now that's another matter! She was shocked and even dare I say dismayed by how prevalent dishonesty and injustice and... and.. .and not-food-ness were outside the jungle of her homeland. At least with a dinosaur you knew what they wanted, but with people? They say they want to share some coffee, and then you go up to their room with them and... well, it wasn't coffee but it was something. But that's beside the point; The point is Ayreth found much to battle among these barbarians. And with her valiant companions, surely she can overcome any obstacle.

Except apparently, setting off interdimensional portal traps. Yeah, that one was her fault, she'll admit it. Look, it looked suspicious, okay, someone had to make sure it was safe, and we're here now, so let's stop pointing fingers!

GreenFlame

Cute barb, yeeey. Also looks like so far everyone was born with XX chroms so you guys won't know about extra functionality of a portal right away.

One thing I'm not sure about, dinosaur are technically extinct, even in this fantasy world. Given, I'm rather flexible to on what is and isn't part of the world so we can work something out.

This also brings up a question, how do you guys feel about pictures for the game? Especially NSFW type, sometimes might find something and include in the game, likly won't go out of my way to find one, but if I have one, would you like to see one?

And other question just for banter for pre-game stuff. Any fantasy creature you find especially hot? I like this, (NSFW) mermaid-like creatures.

Eh. Far-off jungles in fantasy always have dinosaurs. I don't think it'll ever come up.  ;D

NSFW art is just fine for me.

For fantasy creatures i like? Uhm. Fauns, centaur, I've kinda discovered a liking for kobolds and goblins... And I know you said the setting has no penises, but hey, it's not technically a penis when it's on a female gnoll (hyena anatomy is so weird). I mean honestly? Most things that aren't slimy, nonsentient, or insectoid can work out. I do tend to dislike tentacles (see: slimy) but there can be exceptions. Also succubi and other "sex demons" tend to bore me, just because of how generic they usually are. Give me a winsome elf princess over a succubus any day.

As for overall content? I gotta admit i'm not a huge fan of overt torture, brutal non-con, or the like. Of course, playing a tank of a barbarian in a lesbian-only setting can kind of alter the dynamic of what is "brutal" or not - She'd probably just mock the virility of htat gnoll who's taken her captive; "PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT, DOGFACE!"

Yukina

Yes to NSFW. As for creatures I like, definitely mermaids, lamias, centaurs, and slimes. :)

HalfTime

I'm good with NSFW. I like the standard monster girls like lamias, slimes, and mermaids, but I'm also a fan of the less common ones like insect, mushroom, and plant girls.

So I'm going to be busy for a little while playing the new fire emblem game so I may not have time for a new game.

Oh, I see. I guess I shouldn't be shy about throwing in monster girls as well as fantasy races, perfect.

When it comes to gnolls/hyena, that's a bit weird and I do find it rather awkward to read about (not that it is too much written about it). Especially since there doesn't seem to be any definite reason they have one. How hard can it get when erect? (something I don't feel very comfortable researching) Would a gnoll need it in lesbian land? Could be used for pleasure? Would they be an exotic quilty hard to find elsewhere within the land or a unlesss (if not outright deadly) artefact of the world from before gone?

Given, do to how the plane was made, a pseudopenis may be removed as well. Pathfinder does break under heavy scrutiny. Like Lizardfolk egg-laying habits when low on resources, normally, it wouldn't evolve this way so some odd thing may need to be waved.

I nearly overlooked this game, while browsing, and I am glad I stopped by to read this.  The setting and premise sounds delightfully fun, naughty without necessarily being grimdark.

Would you object to another submission, likely one where I'll try my hand with a 'male' character who's affected by the portals?  I love getting into the ideas of mental disconnects with TF's such as these.  I may even pick a non-human race, though I generally prefer humans- depending on how odd the spectrum can extend.

Are there races that might be close to domesticated animal-girls?  Like puppies or kittens?  Do they have cultural 'standing', either high or low, in this world?  My mind is racing at the possibilities!

I am most currently accepting to anyone who can get submission read within the time frame.

Absolutely go for it, there will be other characters like that within the setting, so it might be fun to see how your PC interacting with them, considering they may react differently to being changed and may even have a different starting point.

Animal-people, there are few options.
Skinwalkers this is mostly regular races but got to form, one where they look a normal member of the humanoid race and other were they have some animalistic traits. They may be anywhere between just another type of humanoid living in the are to a strange phenomena worth of witch hunts. This second form can be effectively anime style animal girl.
Ratfolk/Catfolk/Grippli anthro animals, that mostly keep to themselves living separate tribes but some my live amongst human/elves/dwarfs/etc.
Kitsune anthro foxes with a second humanoid form. Living amongst human in secret as they are feared, but sometimes may form a town by themselves.
Strix anthro bird people, they hate humans. Meaning they alienate themselves for normal society and these societies would have a hard time believing one just want to live in peace.

Tibbit (3.5e race) halflings who can turn into a cat. Mostly ignored by the public. They are often mistaken for halflings using druids or other spellcaster using animal shape.
Kemonomimi (3pp race) A animal style animal girls, simular to Skinwalkers but considered a blessing most cultures but never common.

Of course, these are just general global consistencies and there are places then they are received differently. The most example would be evil races who may have legal slavery and use animal-people as fancy pets. Because the world outside mages lands won't be too important for the game, you guys have a lot of freedom in terms of word building.

There's also some room for flexibility with how some of the races look. If I remember right, Catfolk in particular can canonically be anything from catgirls to Thundercats to full on Khajit.

MingMing

So I am looking ovver the Crunch, and there's a few acronyms I don't recognize off the bat, and I would love to start working on the character sheet and concept.  I have a rough idea of a backstory, but have some questions based on what I read.

  • Under 3rd party and 3.5 sources, would requesting a gestalt be asking for two much?  I've never seen an archetype or hybrid class yet conceptualizes a blend between the galant bard and the paladin of love/romance, so would love to try combining the two.

  • Under Rules Variants, I could not find references to what "Block inactive is in play" was
from?  Is there a book or source somewhere for what this means?

  • Similarly, I couldn't find reference on the SRD to Mile Stone levelling?  I think I have a rough idea of what it means, but I don't want to assume.

  • For Sheets, you said you preferred MV, but I wasn't sure what this meant.... was it a typo meant for Myth Weavers?  Or am I missing another sheet source?

Thanks for putting up with some of my ignorant questions...  :-)

Gestalt: Gestalt is something wither everyone has or no-one. I alright with running Gestalt, but this is something everyone has to agree.
Block inactive: after surprise round if there is one, NPC roll for inactive and average is taken out of it. This becomes their block. Then PCs get their rolls, everyone who rolls above NPCs gets to have a full set of actions. Then NPC gets their round, then NPCs, then PCs, then NPCs than PCs and that loops until the end of combat. Both PCs and NPC take their action in any order, but for PCs, I will try to resolve them in the most effective order. There may be a some source for it, but I know from word of mouth.
Mile Stone levelling: This means we don't track XP, rather GM tells you when to level up, this is often associated with plot point like winning a big fight or resolving some other kind of plot.
MV it was supposed to be MW, gonna fix it upright away.

I completely missed this and was going to do my sheet on a google doc. I hope thsts acceptable. It's alit easier for me to maintain values buffs, and progression on the google doc. Esp if we end up doing gestalt.

GreenFlame

I would say it's alright. There two main things are readability and automatic tracking. This post block formant is for example very readable and most good dock sheets I saw also were. Then there tracking the worth and weight of your items.

I've put a lot of study into hyenas, and could actually answer all of those questions  :D The reality is... substantially less sexy than it would be in fantasy RP with bodacious gnoll barbarian babes. If it's not your thing, don't sweat it obviously, i just put it out as an interesting avenue I wouldn't mind giving a shot  ;D

At any rate, I wouldn't mind going gestalt ...i have no idea what Ayreth would gestalt with (hunter, maybe?) but i'd be down for it.

HalfTime

GreenFlame

MingMing: forgot to include it before, I can't find paladin of love/romance anywhere, can you elaborate what you are talking about, perhaps link class/archetype.

I guess that's to be expected, and how much I like the idea is something that depends on a day.
I do have a question I would like to see answered, what are they used for?

Hunter works, just keep in mid-combat acting in possible. I can also recommend SoM as it gives a large degree of flexibility, and while depth/complexity ratio is great, it has a bit of learning curve.

I'm okay with Gestalt.
To tally up: that 1 person for gestalt, 2 ok with it and 2 have not committed yet. Maybe I should make a table with submissions and some extra info.

Yukina

I'm semi-ok with gestalt, though I'd have to go check what'd fit Mavis's backstory and lore first.

Ryu Wojin

I honestly feel like gestalt may be a touch overkill. I am neutral on the subject, but my suggestion to the gm if we do end up doing it. Maybe it could a powerup or something? Something that only we get because we're from another world?
