World: semi-medieval fantasy with magic.

He arrived here about 10 years ago. Asked if people need a blacksmith - they did badly, so he settled in this remote village, far from any cities. Mostly he fixes and crafts tools and elements of household. Very skillfully, everyone admits, as not a single tool ever broke. He lives alone, only with his two huge oxen, with which he arrived back then. He leaves the village sometimes to buy metal bars and other things he needs for his crafting, closing his smithy for a few weeks. There is nothing out of ordinary in him, only the fact he is not interested in any woman around who offered to take care of him and his house. If someone asked local teenagers about their opinion, they would say that the locks this smith made to keep his house closed when he is away, are somehow literally unbreakable.

This man was called a Dark Smith of Yontern once. He possessed a unique skill to craft the weapons, which never break and always deliver a fatal wound. People said that if a man was only wounded by the weapon made by the Dark Smith, he would never get fully healed and die by a mysterious weakness within few weeks. The Dark Smith was rich and satisfied with his life, bathing in fame, love of his beautiful wife and lovely kids. It was like this until the day everything has changed - the day when a tale of Bloody Smith of Yontern was born. The day when all his family was found slaughtered and him wounded, unconscious near them with a large knife next to them, which clearly caused his wounds and killed his family. He was locked in prison, almost every person in town believed he was a murderer, especially after he escaped from this prison two days later.

The smith escaped indeed, saving his life in the most primal instinct of survival, though he never thought he deserved living... he did kill them all after all.

Long time ago, in his young age he came across an old man, a former smith, who asked him for help and keep him company in the last years of his life. In exchange he promised to teach him how to make unbreakable tools and pots. The boy agreed and swore to never try to craft a single weapon. When the old smith died, the young man took all his possession and moved to the nearest town. There, unrestricted by the old man rules, he started crafting deadly, unique weapons which, as it turned out later, were able to kill any creature. He didn't know that the weapons he crafted were not allowed to be used to kill demons. Ha! He didn't even know about demons' existence. Soon he found out when one night his beautiful wife and children came together and attacked him with a knife, whispering something about ancient pact being broken and price needed to be paid.

Now, when this strange woman comes to his house and asks for Dark Smith of Yontern, in his mind's eye he sees the faces of his family twisted in inhuman way, hears them hissing words he could not comprehend.

"I don't know him." Can be his only answer.

"I need him to make me a spear." The woman says, but he is not looking at her. "I need you to forge me a spear, father."
