Welcome to Silver Springs. The City of Freedom and Opportunity. Located in southwestern Colorado, away from the hubs of The Springs and Denver. Silver Springs used to be little more than a livestock town. Place where farmers raised generations of farmers, trading labor for food and shelter. That all changed in 1872,  when Elias Nelson struck gold in the Midnight Mine and Silver Springs suddenly exploded. Ten years later and a town that was sitting on the edge of civilization has been bustling. Traders, miners, and outlaws have come flocking to the city looking to make their fortunes. Whether it's digging for gold hoping to make their, or simply shooting him and stealing it. Every few months or so someone would strike it rich in those mountains. Continuing to lure hopefuls to find their fortune so long as they keep digging.

Come to Silver Springs to find freedom from the civilization of the East, and Fortune better than anywhere else in the west.

Take heed because with opportunity comes danger. The area is still wild with mountain lions, wolves, and bears preying on those lost in the forests. As all walks of life are drawn too town. Outlaws calling themselves free men rest in on the outskirts of the area. Preying on unsuspecting travelers, taking advantage of the lawless west. Only the few that represent "order" in town are crooked and on someone's pay roll. Moreover, with every controversy, the local church is always riling the up the locals into some frenzy about some the abominations in the town.

Beyond those dangers in the untamed wild west, lies something else. Stories of something evil within the mines run rampant in among the tavern's drunks. Stories about monsters wearing the forms of man and preying upon their greed. Stories of entire farms laid to waste and of a madness that grips them. Look closer into the swirling darkness and you might see something lurking back...waiting and viciously hungry...




The current vision for this game is Wild West themed sandbox RPG, focused on the day to day lives of the residents of Silver Springs. Dealing with all the dangers and challenges you would expect in such a setting.  The story being told would take place in time zones, and in those time zones various events with the main plot will take place. My expectation is that this is a group collaboration with everyone pitching and creating their own plot and story. Along with their side plots, driven by whatever stories the other players in the game would like to tell. I would like to see romance, hatred, exploration, intrigue, duels, good fortune, tragedy, whatever stories you would like to tell.

The Main Plot will have two main phases that will effect the players and city directly or indirectly, depending on where the players throw their lot in with.  Once I have a sense of how much interest there is for this game, I'll add more information. As always I'm open to feedback and any questions I'll be happy to answer. 

• Smut scenes will happen, However this is not a smut driven game. If smut is your primary objective and not story telling then this isn't the game for you
• The First Phase will center on a power struggle for control of the city between two to three main factions. (Pending on interest.)
• Polls and feedback from the players will decide gains or losses, and who ultimately takes control (if anyone.) As the story progresses.
• Ability and willingness to communicate will be important, this is meant to be a group collaboration. Each step of the plot is meant to be shared between everyone.
• Players may be involved with any faction and can be leaders in those factions
• The Second Phase will be centered on a Supernatural Horror Element, with emphasis on the horror.
• These horrors will include multiple types of creatures such as but not limited too Werebeasts, vampires, whendigos, etc.
• There will be a mystery surrounding why these various creatures and evil are all so drawn to the city, and how to bring a end to the evil.
• These creatures will not be playable as characters, at least to start.
• Player suggestions and input for either phase is greatly encouraged.
• In order to get the most out of the supernatural horror this game will be in the extreme section and there should be expected to have moments of extreme violence
• All scenes of anything extreme should come with warning tags. This includes anything NSFW.

Silver Springs is filled with all walks of life from all areas of the young United States. Some people were born in Silver Springs, others traveled there seeking their fortune, and even others found themselves trapped just trying to pass through but for one circumstance or another are spending a extended amount of time in the city. Though you are not limited to the following roles, options you may choose to play as include.

• Fortune Seeker digging in the mines
• Farmer born and raised in Silver Springs just trying to survive and protect their land.
• Drifter passing from town to town that's settled in Silver Springs for the time being
• Saloon owner.
• Bartender for a Saloon
• Outlaws of any sort
• General Goods, Blacksmith, Stables Master, or any other shop.
• Vigilante trying to bring justice where the law has failed.
• Doctor in Town
• Banker giving loans and hoarding claims to land.
• Gunslinger looking to become legendary.
• Occultist hunting monsters and strange phenomenons..

Every character should either have committed or been involved with something wicked. Even if they are generally chaste otherwise, Silver Springs is filled to the brim with desperate and cruel people. You do what you have to, to  survive.

Never did a Wild West roleplay but I watched my share of old Wild West movies so I feel confident sharing my interest in this.
I had the idea of wanting to play a saloon piano player thinking about the one in Lucky Luke that never gets hit in tavern brawls and is well respected when reading through the playable characters.

Certainly a deputy or vigilante will find plenty of work in this game. I’m still undecided on just how to handle the supernatural horrors in this game. But we can absolutely discuss possibly stories in regards to that as we go along. Welcome aboard either way ^^
