Just an idea I had, let me know if this interests you. We can make little tweeks if necessary but I'd like to keep the main feel intact.


His name is Yuri Garganov, nicknamed 'The Serpent' by his associates. There are multiple reasons for that nickname of course, but the most important one to the police is his seeming knack for finding and exploiting less-than-loyal members of rival crime organizations and the Police. As such he's the head of the Obshchak of the local Bratva - the head of the Security Group of the local branch of the Russian Mob. Not only that but the aging Pakhan, the man in charge, has named Yuri to be his official heir and as such Yuri is one of the most powerful Criminals in the city.

YC is an undercover policewoman, but won't be for long. Yuri's knack for sniffing out disloyalty means undercover police rarely last long, and usually it ends badly. In a serious relationship outside of work, she does at some point have to have sex with Yuri to maintain her cover and it works just long enough to discover that Yuri can find undercover police so quickly because someone relatively high up is on his take. No idea who, but the good news then is that YC manages to get extracted before something particularly bad happens to her.

However, afterwords she discovers that she's pregnant and either Yuri or her [lover/husband] could be the father. When Yuri discovers the truth though, surprisingly he doesn't want Revenge. At first he just wants to know if he is the father, but if he is he'll also want his child. And when Yuri Garganov really wants something there's very little on Earth that can stop him.
