Diablo is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler video game series developed by Blizzard North and continued by Blizzard Entertainment after the north studio shutdown in 2005. The series is made up of three core games: Diablo, Diablo II, and Diablo III. Expansions include the third-party published Hellfire, which follows the first game, Lord of Destruction, published by Blizzard and released after the second game, and Reaper of Souls, which follows the third game. Additional content is provided through story elements explored in other media forms.
The series is set in the fantasy world of Sanctuary. The three games in the series take place in similar geographic areas, with several common areas including the town of Tristram and the region around Mount Arreat. Additional setting is provided by the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, two separate realms with ties to Sanctuary. The series focuses on the battle between the humans living on Sanctuary and the Prime Evils, demons who are led by Diablo, the series' chief antagonist. The humans are occasionally aided by angels, notably the archangel of justice, Tyrael. The characters in the world of Sanctuary are primarily humans, angels, and various classes of demons and monsters.

In 2210, virtual reality video games is common and old school over the top games are now full world, full 3-D. The Diablo series was no exception to this reimagining and the company that did it; brought everything back; down to the randomly generated dungeons. The only thing that was different, was the point of view. Even so many years later, it remained a popular game to play.

One of those young players was a 30-year-old man named Ryan Kilpela. He is a functioning gamer who works full time as a dishwasher. The only happiness he finds is inside the game with his group of three other people; whom he had spent years gaming, talking too and getting the top spot of the leader boards for Greater Rift pushing. Ryan is, for the most part a shut in, but has a kind heart and will do what he can to help people out. Even if it tends to mean he remains poorer than dirt. Wealth never made him happy but caring for another do. That said, he never had been married or even been with a woman before. While lonely, he always pushed it aside when he was gaming. Thus, his life was always work, eat. Game and sleep.

Till one day, while he was gaming, hooked up to the neural interface during a bizzare lightning storm. He was in the main in game city, finally got his last piece of Primal Enhance gear, when there was something that sounded like thunder, everything went white. When it all cleared, and he could see. He was surrounded by what looked like praying animal… people or people being animals. This, is where the true story begins.

As he looks around, he notices he is in his avatars body, an old looking Barbarian Warrior who strangely looks exactly like the statue they were worshiping behind him. With no clue where he is or why he became this monster of a warrior. A world he realizes is not so different from the game he came from but is as real as the world he was naturally born into. Cept this time, he is like a God among men. While, in his head he is freaking out and has no idea what to do or how to act.

A brief history of the world he is transported to by unknown means. Like in Diablo, the land he is transported to is called Sanctuary. To the West, lies the creatures of the forest. Mostly Anthos or those affiliated with fur wearing animals live there. To the north is the mountain and desert regions were the scale wearers live. To the East, a mix of valleys and mountains, were the feather wearers live. Both scales and feathers had gained a massive advantage against the furs and threaten to overtake them. What is slowing their destruction was the barrier the furs managed to erect with what little mana remained in the world. Not only have these millennia long wars have reduced the worlds mana, but the men in the world as well. Thus, forcing several mortal women to become hermaphrodites. Dragons, for example, are a race that this did not happen too. Then, another problem broke out; Monsters. These monsters would be familiar to my character, the one summoned to the furs side. Ultimately, it’s all out war and chaos.
