La Belle-Mère

Vivienne Martine Hérault de Vaucresson, Countess of Vergennes had always preferred to be called 'V' by her friends. This was not because she disliked the trappings of wealth; she had known no other life and as such couldn't imagine living any other way. The name Vivienne suited her but she'd always felt the assured abruptness of 'V' fit her more than any name or title. Others still, those that were afflicted with endlessly wagging tongues, called her Lady V. That name was known all over Paris and there were even whispers of it in Court but she paid that no mind. With her husband away and her children married off she had little to occupy her time. If she wanted to throw lavish parties and play all manner of card games that was her right.

The ennui never left her. She had been restless even in the womb and she believed she would be until the day the Lord took her. Recently someone has caught her attention. She had told herself many times that there was a boundary she could never cross but what could she do when he was always tempting her.

With each new boundary crossed a new one will pop up in its place but he breaks every single one of them down. How long can this dangerous tryst with her son in law continue? Why is it that she feels that they only grow closer rather than further apart?

I am looking for someone to play Vivienne's handsome son in law. She had her children young so while she is forty her son in law is probably in his mid 20s. Her husband is a diplomat and is often away. Her daughter only lives a few blocks away and so they see each other often. On these visits she has gotten to know her son in law and has grown quite fond of him but their relationship has begun to veer into the inappropriate before becoming a full on affair. She knows it's wrong but she finds herself drawn to him and it becomes clear that what they have isn't just physical.

Perhaps he shows her a new world? Maybe he introduces her to bondage or other things she has never tried?
