There are a few ways this can go depending on what the other play wants.

Celeb

She was a one hit wonder. Maybe it was a movie or music or something of the like but the character had only one great thing on her resume followed by a decade of struggling before retiring. As she hit 40 though she felt that itch again. She wanted to do better and she knew that she could do it. It would be hard but she could do it.

We could also do a different direction too where someone at the height of their fame suddenly retired and 10 years later feels that shes' in a good place and it's time for the comeback. The only questions are: Will people care and does she still have 'it'?

Hero

She had done it! She had defeated evil. She had fulfilled her destiny! She had saved the world at the ripe old age of 20. Flash forward 20 years and people don't care as much as they did back then. A bout with PTSD kept her out of the public light for too long and people just stopped caring. However, a threat is back and a younger hero needs help. Will she be able to provide it?
