I like to keep these short and sweet, as I know you are probably going to have to sort through a dozen request threads to find "the one". So, don't mistake briefness for a lack of writing ability, I just respect your time and would rather not waste it with fat. I have a writing sample in my on/offs if you want to see  how detailed I can be.

Now, I am looking for someone who posts regularly, daily on average. I like working with my partners on the story rather than just taking sole control. I am flexible on the plots I listed below, so if you have any idea's let me know. My plots are organized by genre/setting in bold, the pairing/title in italics, and the outline of the plot itself in plain text.

If you are interested, feel free to drop me a PM after taking a close look at my on/offs to see if we would mesh well.

Medieval Fantasy

Ignorance is bliss.

Humans and monsters have been at odds with one another for countless generations... and although an uneasy peace has formed between the humans and most other races, bigotry and hatred are still common... for the most part humans avoid monsters all together, considering them less than, not worthy of their time... others however actively hunt creatures from other races, whether they are violent towards humans or not.

Your character happens to be a rather powerful, inhuman creature. However she enjoys playing the part of the weakling, traveling down roads that humans frequent and waiting for a group to come by and start some trouble with her, completely unaware of what danger they are putting themselves in. They are never much of a challenge for her, but she enjoys playing with her food... and knowing that she's done her part to keep her section of the forest a little safer for other, less capable monsters.

She is in the middle of luring some poor, ignorant humans to their doom when suddenly, another traveler makes his way towards her. She at first figures he is looking to get in on the fun... however instead of joining the humans, he stands against them, defending her. Your character finds this amusing... and decides to watch, after all, it wasn't every day she got dinner and a show. However the man who chose to defend her is strong... not as strong as her of course, but capable enough to defeat her attackers.

Worn out, he is now easy prey for your character... but for some reason, she doesn't attack him... no human has ever tried to protect her before, and he has sure made things... interesting... she decides it would be more entertaining to follow this human around, continuing to play the part of the helpless maiden around him... until she grows bored of him anyways. However, as she journeys with him, sees the good he does for both her kind and humans... she warms up to the human. Maybe she won't eat him after all?

Avatar

Avatar/Martial Arts Master

Your character is the Avatar, the master of all four elements... born into a world that is at war. Non-benders have decided to rise up against benders, hunting them down in an attempt to rid the world of what they consider to be a dangerous, oppressive force. Your character has managed to survive in a small tribe of benders, learning the basics, but not able to find a true master to teach her everything she needs to know.

Once her family's group is discovered, she is forced to flee for her life, unable to fight off the sheer number of attackers... alone, she has to do whatever she can to survive, keeping her bending hidden from those who would harm her...

One day however, when confronted by a group of rather aggressive thugs, she is forced to use her bending to protect herself. The battle is tough, but thankfully, a young man jumps in to assist her. He has no bending powers, but is a skilled hand to hand fighter... who's combat style looks awful similar to some of the bending moves she had been taught when she was younger.

After asking my character how he had learned to fight like that, he explains that he has studied ancient texts on bending, incorporating what he has learned into his fighting... He is a master bender, without being able to actually bend any of the elements. He can teach her the proper forms, the technique... everything she knows to become a true master.

Superhero

Superhero/Mob boss

Your character is a super hero (cannon or OC) who has committed herself to protecting the weak and punishing evil, having put some major bad guys behind bars... although one particular bad guy has always been just beyond her reach. She has been able to foil a few of his crimes in the past, but never been able to connect anything directly to him... all the evidence she had was circumstantial, and although there was no doubt in her mind he was guilty, his lawyers always managed to talk him out of any trouble she tried to land him in.

Things have been rough for your character, crime fighting doesn't exactly pay well, and balancing work and hero duty always put her on thin ice with her boss... until recently, when running out in the middle of a shift without any explanation lead to her being fired. Now she has no income, bills to pay and rent that's due... when there's a knock on her door.

Who is standing there but the infamous mob boss himself, hands up to show that he is unarmed, alone... and wanting to talk to her. He has an offer he'd like to make her... he's known her secret identity for some time now, and when he had heard she had been fired... well, he thought he might be of some assistance. He informs her that he will not only support her financially, but act as her personal informant, making it much easier for her to stop some of the worst criminals in the city... but in exchange, he has a few conditions. 1: She is never to disclose their arrangement. 2: When they meet to discuss things, she is to speak to him as her normal self, not a hero... that means if she sees him carrying an illegal fire arm, or overhears something incriminating, she's to look the other way. She can still shut down his organizations with evidence she's gathered herself, but she is not to exploit their arrangement to make it easier for her to do so. And 3: She take out the odd criminal every now and then that he directs her to... people who have been causing trouble that he would like to have removed from the equation.

Super Hero/Not so super hero

Your character (Cannon or OC) is a super hero, and has been doing her best to fight crime. She's put some bad guys behind bars, and lives fairly comfortably off of bounties collected from said bad guys. Things have been going well for her, and although difficult, she enjoys the super hero gig.

One day, she picks up chatter on a police scanner that says a bank robbery is in progress, and heads in the banks direction to stop it. The thugs inside are armed, but thankfully they don't have any hostages. She is fairly confident that she can take them out, if she's careful, as she isn't completely bullet proof... At first things go well, but she finds herself pinned down, in trouble... and that's when, out of nowhere, some crazy fucker with a shotgun walks in and opens fire on the robbers!

They are blind sided, confused, and understandably distracted. When they switch their attention to the masked man with a shotgun, she is given the opening she needs to take the remaining thugs out... thankfully, the thugs who had been shot with the shot gun were hit not with slugs, but with beanbag rounds, knocked out, but not dead. She's a bit curious about this "hero", as he did potentially save her life by stepping in when he did... but as they talk she discovers he doesn't actually have any powers at all, just a shotgun, some body armour, and good intentions.

Future/Sci-Fi

New frontiers

In the future, alien races have learned to tolerate one another. There have been conflicts, even all out wars... but those are all in the past. Until recently, conflicts have been avoided by each race isolating themselves from one another... however recently it has been decided that this solution is no longer suitable, and that steps need to be taken to close the gap between the races.

To do this, the first multiracial space station has been assembled, pieced together by joining smaller stations together around a central node. It is to serve as a testing ground to see how (and if) other races function with one another. Individuals have been hand picked for their skills and abilities from each race, small governments have been assigned to rule over each race, and five individual in particular from each race has been selected to perform the vital role of ambassador to the other races (one ambassador for each of the other five races on the station).

The ambassador's job is two fold, to learn about the other races culture, and to settle disputes between the two races through negotiation with the other ambassador. Each race knows only a little about the other (mostly Intel gathered during previous wars), but have been given a universal translator with which to easily communicate with one another.

Our characters are each ambassadors of their own race, assigned to meet and work with each other in this grand new experiment... the fate of which could determine if peace will continue in the galaxy, or if all out war will be declared...
