I have the book and am interested.  I don't know L5R all that well, though, so I need to REALLY think about a lot of these questions.  Here's what I've got so far.

Sorry changed my vote from dragon as I saw it was not  on the approved list of clans for the game. So gave another vote to the crane.

Multiple clans can lead to party infighting which may lead to butthurt

Especially when you are a scorpion diplomat in a group of varying clans during the coup. Plenty of butt hurt

I chose one Clan to make it easier for everyone to learn without having clashing of party members.  Just easier that is.
