The search feature doesn't always work for me. Is this a glitch or can it be down sometimes?

Could you explain step by step how you are using it, so we can get a better idea if it might be a glitch, please?

One time I checked a single section of the forum to search, entered a couple search terms and after clicking to search, I got some kind of error message. It wasn't about no results or anything, it seemed like the attempt to even begin search failed.

I just tried again today and I think I just made a mistake when I was getting an error. It has been working today for me.

Search has always been very temperamental, it's a flaw in SMF -the forum software - if I remember correctly.

I have had same issue on other forums that use the same software. It reminds me of that car that will start five times without a problem, then when you need to go to an appointment, it has other ideas for you.
