For fans of the Persephone x Hades tale, my offer is this:

Ares has had a daughter by a human woman. He has been watching her growth and development, amazed at her burgeoning powers (strength, speed, agility, fighting skills). Ares's greatest desire is to petition her for godhood to Zeus, for only the king of the gods can grant such a wish. But Ares's daughter does not know she is a demi-god, nor an offspring of the God of War. She seems to crave battle and the chance to continually prove herself against men and women. She disdains religion and wants nothing to do with the gods, so Ares feels compelled to show her the truth.

There are several limitations, however. Zeus has decreed that should any god or goddess on Olympus wish to mingle with humans, they must reform as a mortal, with all mortal weaknesses. Also, the time limit decree is set for one lunar cycle. The god or goddess has but 30 standard days as a mortal or risk becoming permanently a human with no godly powers.

Knowing all of this, Ares must risk becoming temporarily mortal in order to convince his daughter that she belongs among the gods of Olympus. Will she be convinced? Why should she go anywhere when she is essentially the "Wonder Woman" of earth?

Subplots abound:  Zeus is missing and the other gods wish to appoint a temporary leader in order to quell unrest and dissension. Apollo and Athena vie for control, and Ares wants nothing to do with it.  Also, it is the dawn of the Trojan War and the Greeks are looking for a charismatic warrior to lead them to victory.
