Body Image Thread Question

I was curious, do anyone think it'd be appropriate to make a thread on body image and stuff? Like talking about anxieties about our bodies? It'd have to be in an Adult section.

I think it could be helpful for talking about the subject and realizing we're not alone, how people aren't as judgemental as we think, but I also know there might be issues.

It also could be TMI for people so that'd be a concern

I mentioned this in AB but I thought maybe I should make a thread. I had ideas on how to set it up, with links to the rules, specifically ones on people making you uncomfortable and things. As well as mentioning people could make ones in their own sections, so for guys who don't feel comfortable letting women hear their anxieties and body problems, one of them could make one in the lords section. In either case it has to be in somewhere like On Topic where outsiders can read. I feel like it could be helpful, especially if people try to comfort and help others understand things. Definitely not for everyone and for trans people it could be especially hard to post.

Do you think it would be too dangerous? We can list our triggers and thing in our On/Off threads, but if people want to be malicious it could give them ammo for how to hurt others. I wouldn't mind posting in such a thread myself but I can easily see why many wouldn't. Or if it's something that is against the rules in some way on privacy and personal information if someone is detailed enough they could be identified(Like tattoos, or certain features).

Staff is there a way it could be done, would it be alright to post? Or is there too many negatives and things? If it can be posted would it go in On Topic?

Not Staff but it sounds like a thing for SAS Discussions? I haven't looked but there might be one there already.

For a number of reasons, including those already mentioned, Staff would prefer not pursuing this as a thread focus.
