So I'm SeekingBetterRoleplay, but you can call me Better. I'm an experienced roleplayer with well over 10 years of playing under my belt, going all the way back to old Yahoo Chat Rooms. Yes, that's ancient, I know!
I used to love roleplaying for a long time, but things had changed. Seems like the general atmosphere for roleplaying had changed a little while back, and that kind of killed my inner muse. I found it hard to meet partners that enjoyed crafting stories and characters as much as they enjoyed writing smut. People seemed to have forgotten the subtle art of writing about desire, emotion, realism, personalities, conflict, and humor. It all became about the sex, and while sex and smut are really great, there's something about forming a connection to characters that I do miss. I miss creating realistic personalities, and characters that are true to them.
Most importantly though, I miss making friendships with my fellow players and inspiring each other with fun, creative plots. I miss having people that I trusted with my desires. It's difficult to build those lasting relationships it seems these days.
I have returned because I miss playing, and I really hope to find like-minded partners that can share in those elements of roleplaying.
Alright, are you still with me? Good! Now down to what I want?
Full disclosure here, I'm a female. However, I don't limit myself to only writing female roles. I play both male and female roles because I feel like a good writer should be able to create characters of all genders. So, I hate to limit myself to playing only my own gender. Got it? Got it! Good? Good!
I play only M x F, heterosexual roles. That means penis goes IN the vagina. F x F or M x M roles really don't do anything for me. It's just not my cup of tea. Doesn't tickle my fancy. Won't float my boat. So I will not go there.
Settings: I tend to stick with the modern, realistic style of settings. Some alternate reality storylines do pique my interest, but it's got to be creative. I will also occasionally dabble with incorporating fantasy elements to a modern setting, but again, it's got to be something special and unique.
Pairings I like: I mostly enjoy romances that would be considered taboo by society. Some examples of those are age play, interracial, incest, forbidden romances. When it comes to age play, I always prefer when the female is the younger of the two characters. These are things that tickle me to the core.
Now, some other things I do enjoy are anthros. I do love a good Anthro Male x Human female scenario. Just a guilty pleasure of mine, but then again, I guess all of these things could be considered guilty pleasures.
On the subject of Dom/Sub. I don't conform to traditional views of the Dom/Sub variety. I like to play a variety of characters with their own wants and desires. I play characters who have their own brains, and don't need you to tell them what they want. Now do I occasionally play characters who are aggressive with their sexual needs? Yes. Do I occasionally play characters that are more reserved or shy? Yes also. I know what you're asking yourself, "How can this be? How can one person not identify as either Dom or Sub?" The answer is quite simple. My characters all have a variety of personalities and quirks about them. I will rarely enjoy playing the same type of person. So I don't fall into these normal tropes. So one role I may play the sweet, innocent, daddy's little princess, and in another role I may play the loving, protective, strong daddy character. Completely depends on the plot.

Alright, so what have we learned today? We've learned that story and characters are very important to me. I enjoy crafting creative plots. I enjoy taboo relationships.
Now the only question you have to ask yourself is, are you ready to play? If so, please PM me and let's start brainstorming.
Due to limitations with work and the fact that they block this site I will RP via Email or Discord (top preference) only. Lately I've been playing more and more over discord, and I find it way easier to organize my plots, and manage people. So I'd prefer that.
