Hah, in this case, my character is pretty vanilla but I'm more than willing for other things to happen with her ;)

Sometimes people like to play a character way kinkier than they are.
Sometimes? ::)

And hence why I included Character and Player Ons in my submission, lol

Hey Zo, you should take a look at the Divine Herbalist Archetype, if you haven't already. Basically gives up your first revelation for an absolutely fantastic heal, and fits your theme as well.

Still very much a WIP, but here's my guy:

AWFUL GOOD ● MALE ● HALF-ORC ● ORADIN: 3/3

Background Skills: Profession(Firefighter) 6, Knowledge(Engineering) 6

Countenance: A looming hulk of a man, Grom takes far more closely after his orcish ancestors than his human ones. Green tinged skin, pronounced incisors that jut from his lower lip, and a huge six and a half foot frame give him an undeniably orkish appearance. Despite that, he carries himself tall, with a proud bearing, polished armour and neatly cropped hair that are inevitably at odds with his brutish looks.

Demeanor: It takes a special kind of crazy to brave the night just to run into blazing buildings to rescue people who are quite often already dead. What he lacks in instincts for self preservation though, he more than makes up for with sheer force of personality. A prominent figure in the creation of the Urgasburg fire brigade, Grom's outwards appearance belies a surprisingly heroic nature, and his courageous deeds have made him a fairly well know figure within the city, the face of the fire department, and even well liked, except when he is out campaigning for more funds for the brigade of course. Having inherited orcish stubborness in spades, he is tenacious to a fault, and works hard to keep his other orcish impulses firmly under control.

Rumours: Is backed by an unknown benefactor amongst the house of feasting(unconfirmed), has a severe hero complex(confirmed), is actually the estranged son of a certain well known Silver Truce leader(unconfirmed), A gentleman on the streets but a beast in the sheets(Unconfirmed)

Technically that's a Pei Zin Practitioner, the traditions described being specific to Tian Xia. For legal reasons d20pfsrd has to file off the setting-specific details, like what parts of Golarion something comes from, or if an archetype/feat/trait is specific to a Golarion divinity.

Once we have a completed character do we await explicit GM approval or do we just jump in so long as we have not been vetoed?
If I have not responded to a post in 4 days, send me a PM as I may have missed it.

Thanks, I am new to the site and am used to ones where GMs pick their players from applicants.

First turn has started! From the IC thread:

Posting deadline: 11:59pm (UTC+8), Wednesday (29 Aug 2018)
(Probably Tuesday if your time zone is in the Americas)
Posting key points: Introduce your character (if you haven't already) and get on a stagecoach.
Posting reward: Free entry into the RP as long as you have a completed character. After this deadline, potential entrants need to talk to me first.

OOC thread: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=292358.0
IC thread: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=292359.0

To clarify if you have a completed character you can join freely. But this is a limited time offer that expires with the above deadline.

Clearly still a WIP, but here goes. Recommendations are welcome, and if anyone would like backstory ties, drop me a line.

Giles
Once upon a time a child born to a peasant couple of Urgasburg fell terribly ill. Unable to pay for his treatment, his parents offered to let the House of Healing claim him as their servant if they would save his life. That night, though, as the sickly child was on the brink of death, a huge, grim black dog came to him – a psychopomp. The child smiled weakly, saying he always wished he could have a dog, though his parents could never afford to feed another mouth. He asked the dog to stay by his side, and, reaching out to pet the dog, as they touched, their fates entwined.

Now bound to the child, the psychopomp eidolon knew that neither fate awaiting the sickly child, whether he lived or died, was acceptable, and so it spirited him away from Urgasburg (read: kidnapped him), bringing him instead to the nearest enclave of Pharasmins it knew to entreat them to tend to the boy.

Now, years and years later, a young man bearing a different name than the child he once was has heard of Urgasburg’s troubles and, urged by his eidolon, the prodigal son of Urgasburg turns to face the past...
