Alright, this is my Boat so listen up.
Rule 1 - I don't do Slaves.
Rule 2 - I don't do Weapons, except for the ones on the outside of the ship or on my person.
Rule 3 - I don't do jobs where I kill someone. Kill someone back, sure. But that ain't the same thing.
Rule 4 - I don't do jobs from Dictators and Tyrants. The 'Verse is full enough of bad men as it is.

So I got into Elite Dangerous and am kind of hooked, admittedly. So I thought an RP based on that might be fun.

Basic idea is that it's centuries in the future and Humanity has spread out among the galaxy. Something possible due to the development of Frame Shift Drives, devices that can bend relativity and create pockets of warped space that allow for faster then light travel. Combine that with some quantum mechanical effects and you can cross the space between star systems in seconds if you have the fuel for it.

The character I have in mind is I call Daghlian, a down-on-his-luck commander who just can't give up on his principles when it comes to picking jobs. Overall a good man, if not necessarily a legally upstanding one. His cargo bay isn't a big one, but he gets the job done largely by virtue of being too small to really get much attention.
