most keyboards are standard, mass produced, easily replaced, a select few are specialised, very exspensive, like the keyboard on a CAD CAM PC.

Instead of replacing when the keys get sticky, or coffee is spilt, its easier to take the keyboard apart, clean the keys and chassis, and rebuild it, saving a hell of a lot of money in the process.

the keyboard i was repairing was a specialised CAD keyboard, had over 500 keys, and i forgot to write out which went where....ouch

LMAO sometimes i worry bout that...

as for keys, its a standard keybaord, but with like another keyboard added above with keys labelled for every function in cad, so u press a key to add a circle, etc.

Us CAD/CAM operator folks are special... we need twice as many keys as you lesser mortals.

(Jusk kidding... we're actually just kinda lazy...)
