There were rules and rules must be followed. Guard, protect, and obey. Do not touch, do not speak unless spoken to, and never let anything happen to...her. Those were the general principles of it all. But what happens when she says "Please" and when you have to obey, but that obeying order, defies itself - it - challenges itself. When it contradicts itself and you're left wondering why you ever listened, why you even stayed that long. You could've pretended that it never happened - that it was just a dream. In a world, in a business when you're not supposed to think about pleasure, not at the cost of your life, dignity, and much less anything else.

This story can go many ways;

1. It's a true love story between a princess and her guard. Falling in love, even though it's unthinkable and against all rules and regulations. They could run away - far off to where their love is legal or find a way to change it. This is a slow burn romance, one I think would be very endearing.

2. She is forced into an arranged marriage and YC has no choice but to over see that this marriage must go through. They have known eachother for years and see this happen is heartbreaking. They don't know why it hurts, but something must be done. Or, this arranged marriage happened because YC is the guard of the Prince in question - however, YC and the Princess become rather close, causing a rift that may cause an unfavorable war.

3. We can come up with something together? Maybe ignore everything all together and kidnap the princess?
