I thought it was a delightful post. I love how you captured the struggles of traveling in the desert.

Sorry did I miss something rereading this?  I get not to drive there but how close can you get?  What is keeping someone from driving up?

Kinsey was okay anyway, she arrived with her own hump (as it saved time), though you will be pleased to hear that no camels were harmed during the making of her second post (which is more than can be said for the llama's!).

Sorry did I miss something rereading this?  I get not to drive there but how close can you get?  What is keeping someone from driving up?

Mmmm. -thinks- Maybe two days or so depending how fast your character is traveling. It's kind of like what prevents someone from driving into a road that's flooded. There may not be a visible sign but it's certainly not a wise idea. There is also no gas stations along the way. xD If you'd like, your character can be stubborn and not listen to the locals' advice. I always like a bit of drama in-character.  Maybe she can come across Jaclyn's character along the way once the car craps out. She's still in the midst of traveling.

The Caravanserai has been described as isolated. Therefore we who visit must isolate ourselves from elsewhen. What I tried to imagine without researching travel by camel. I know they stride both feet one side then both the other so a swaying gait very different from a horse.

So the central Sahara - country non-specific - which is where it seems to be has been the domain of all sorts of things. Terrorist training bases being one of them. French Foreign Legion. Undiscovered Egyptian pyramids. Perhaps there's a day trip that stumbles across one or more of those places?

Jaclyn, I'm not sure what you mean.  Sometimes, I'm unclear in my writing or things are misunderstood.  See Reply 35.  I was just saying I'd like multiple players as in that reply. I understood it to be an open issue, had my opinion and that was that.  Flower got the flavor with her lol.  So i guess we'll see and have fun with however it is.

- Obscenities are okay.

- Nudity is not okay.
- Sexual acts are not okay.
- Extreme violence is not okay.

If you are ever confused if something you're planning on writing is fine or not, please ask rather than making an assumption. :)
