Foxxfire

Hello, my name is Foxxfire! I am glad you decided to stop by and check out all the things my brain decided to come up with! I have been writing for about six years now, but I still consider myself as a newbie. I like to think that there is always room for improvement, though, and therefore, I encourage all of you to come and post with moi!

I don't have a specific time that I am on. I try to be pretty active, because I love to write, but there are times that my muse is upside down, or that my life is taking a heavy toll on me. If it's been a while since I last posted to you, you can certainly PM me, in case I haven't already informed you as to why I am away. My Real Life is my top priority.

Communication is key with me, and  as I've mentioned before at least I think I have, I enjoy receiving PMs. They make me uber happy! Especially if they are followed by great ideas that lead to amazing roleplays! So, don't be shy, I want you to communicate with me!

I tend to write a lot. By a lot, I mean at least a couple of paragraphs. It will certainly not be less that two paragraphs, but it can certainly be far, far more than that. I like being detailed, when I write, and it gives me great pleasure to provide my partner with enough information, that will allow him to give me a well written reply. I like to write stories, and not just three lines of nonsense.

Genres I love

  • Drama - Love it in the stories, not so much in real life :P
  • Romance - I am a girl, okay? I need me some good, sweet, fluffy romance, to make me feel precious.

  • Adventure - Fighting, exploring... I like everything!
  • Fantasy - I love everything that has to do with Fantasy, and I also enjoy creating fantastic scenarios in historical eras (Will be explained later)

  • Mythology - From Gods and Goddesses to Nymphs and Sirens

Likes:
  - Reading ( Morgana loves reading and learning new things. She is positive that knowledge brings power, and power is very important.)
  - Travelling (She is a free spirit who likes to explore.)
  - Movies. (Evenings curled up in bed watching movies with a hot chocolate, or munching on popcorn is her favorite thing in the world.)
- Music (Morg has been playing the violin since she was a little girl. It's a way for her to express the feelings she sometimes can't voice, and calm herself, discarding all the negativity.)
- Deep conversations (Morg likes to have her brain entertained and she will probably stay away from you if you can't keep up with her. She needs people to spend time talking about important things in life. A smart person to understand and evolve with her.)
- Animals ~ Especially cats ( She considers them extremely intelligent and adorable.)
- Boys (Like -almost- every girl, she loves a good looking male. It's part of her evolving after all.)
- Attention (Sometimes, just sometimes, she is seeking a little too much attention. She likes to be worshiped by the people in her life.)
- Potions (It's fascinating to her.)
- Flying (She is quite a broom fan, but that ends there. No Quidditch for the lady, thank you.)
- Singing (Morgana has a quite beautiful voice, but even though she loves singing, she is quite shy to do so in front of people. Only her parents have actually heard her, and she has made them promise not to talk about it.)

  - Ignorance (Morgana does not put up with being ignored, or ignorance of any level. If you wanna be part of her life, you will pay attention.)
  - Swimming (She never learned how to, she is scared of it, end of story.)
  - Quidditch ( Even though she is a fan of flying, Neri finds zero interest in Quidditch.)
- Nosy people (Morg is quite the private person, and doesn't like to talk too much about her or her life.)
- Losing (Morg is good -or so she believes- at everything she is doing. So losing is not on her list.)
- Pureblood stereotypes (People have moved on from those old ideals, or at least, they should've.)
- Social gatherings (Morgana isn't you usual social butterfly. She is not isolated per se, but she isn't a fan of a lot of people.)
- Being Late ( Morg doesn't like to wake up late, nor being late in anything. She is quite the morning person and always on time when something has been arranged.)
- Darkness (Yes, she is still afraid of the dark.)

Strengths:
  - Adventurous (Morg loves her some adventure!)
  - Appreciative (She will never forget what you have done for her, and she will be there for you. As long as you stand by her side, she will stand by yours.)
- Determined (She will achieve anything she has set her eyes upon.)
- Disciplined
- Independent (Morgana can handle herself just fine.)

Weaknesses:
  - Stubborn (If it's in her head, you won't get it out.)
  - Shy (On situations.)
  - Overthinking

Background:

Elyah was born and raised in a Single Parent family. Her mother, Moira, had been the only parental figure the young girl had for the most part of her life. In the early stages of her life, not having a father didn't feel as bad, for the little girl, but when she started going to school, and was forced to watch the other children with both of their parents, Elyah began to ask questions. Questions that Moira could not answer, therefore avoided as much as possible.
Sadly for the youngling, Moira never told her the truth. On the contrary, after Elyah didn't seem to back off, the Muggle woman decided to make up a story, in the hopes that Elyah would stop asking the same questions over and over again. One evening, when Elyah had come asking for her father again, Moira told her that her dad was forced to work far away from here, in order to provide for them, and that, one day, he would return to them. This was, of course, a temporary lie, since Moira planned on telling her the whole truth, when she felt like Elyah was old enough and prepared to hear her out. Because, how could you tell a child that she had been nothing but the mistake of one drunken night?

As Elyah started showing signs of magic by her fifth birthday, Moira found herself unable to believe that her daughter could be a witch. Magic had never been something that Moira believed in, and because of that, she had almost sent the poor chld to a mental insitution, on the pretense she was losing her mind. Thankfully, their neighbour, Mrs. Jones, was experiencing the same thing with her son, and had stopped Moira before she made another grieve mistake.
Moira, though, being a Muggle, had no idea how to deal with her daughter's unique talents. Not to mention that she had no idea from where she had inherited such... talents. The letter that arrived a few years later though, from one school called Hogwarts, gave her the answer she had been looking for. Still unsure, and also scared that this was all a farce, Moira threw the letter away, unwilling to believe that such a school existed. She had never heard about it, so how could it be possible? To her dismay, two more letters arrived from the same school, and Moira found herself believing in things that were not possible.

Hogwarts was real.

Her daughter was a witch.

Giving up, the Muggle read through that letter carefully, glad that it --at least-- had instructions on where they should go in order to get all of the things she needed. Elyah was beyond excited, finally glad that her mother was accepting her for what she truly was. Though, this was her mistake. Moira had never accepted her, neither did she truly love her child. She had kept Elyah only because it had been her mistake, and not the child's, but she was still not ready to take care of a child, and that was obvious to everyone.
Elyah, therefore, did not grow up with the love she deserved to have. Going to Hogwarts was a ray of hope for the little girl, who believed that if she became a powerful enough witch, she would be able to finally find her father. The father whom she had never met. The only person that could potentially take care of her. And she couldn't wait to start searching for him. Because the sooner she got away from her mother, the better it would be for her.

Background:

Anne was born into a loving home, as the first and only child of Gregory and Natalie Parr. The young witch started showing signs of magic from a very young age, and her parents made sure to explain to her everything about magic, and how to control it. The young girl grew closer to her mother, who worked as a Healer at St. Mungo's, since it was extremely hard for the girl to bond with her father, who was constantly away on missions. Being an Auror was not an easy thing, but Anne couldn't fully understand that yet.

As she grew older, her mother made sure to call in Professors, since she didn't want Anne to stay behind on her studies. She had a few years until her Hogwart's letter was supposed to arrive, but until then, Anne was supposed to know as many things as possible, in order to be prepared for the life that was to follow. The young witch, though, didn't particularly like to study, which created a problem, most of the times.

At the age of eleven, her Hogwarts letter arrived --as expected--, and Anne, accompanied by both of her parents, for once, visited the Diagon Alley, in order to prepare for her First Year at Hogwarts. The robes she was supposed to wear were something Anne hated with a passion, because, according to her, they made her look fat. But that would be the least of her problems, once she stepped foot at Hogwarts.

The Sorting Ceremony was something she remembered quite clearly. She was, the least to say, awed by how big Hogwarts was, and how many people were attending. When her name was called, the girl had confidently walked up and waited to be sorted, unlike the other First Years who were hesitant and scared. The Hat had placed her in Ravenclaw, noting how intelligent the young witch was, and that her brain was going to be of great use later on.

The first couple of years at Hogwarts were fun and simple. Anne attended every lesson and studied hard, successfully becoming one of the top students every year. But during her Third Year, when Anne was finally able to visit Hogsmeade, things started to change. The girl started studying less, not completely giving up, no, bu definitely losing her place at the top. Parties were the first thing on her list, and she soon ended up being one of the most popular witches in the castle.

By the time she was in her Fourth Year, Anne had officially become Ravenclaw's most famous lady. Every girl wanted to be her friend, and every boy wanted to be her boyfriend, but it turned out that Anne wasn't particularly good with relationships. The girl had got in a relationship with a seventh year Slytherin, to whom she had also lost her virginity. The relationship though, was cut short, since Anne finally understood that relationships were not her thing. She liked to flirt and have fun, and a boyfriend was not helping her do that.

Now in her Seventh Year, Anne is still searching for true romance and real friends. Perhaps the future held many surprises for her..
