Hello and thanks for stopping by. In case you're in a hurry to read the +20.000 other similar threads I'll keep my request brief and to the point.

Now that summer's here and my workload is about to decrease substantially as an indirect result, I find myself seeking out more RP opportunities. Since you're in this particular section of the forum you probably already guessed I'm interested primarily in 1v1 storytelling. Unlike most of those other twenty thousand threads I shall not offer any of my own story ideas however. The reason for this being that at the moment I do not really crave any one particular thing. What I am hoping to gain through this thread is maybe a handful of new partners to help them satisfy some of their own cravings. So if by chance you're someone who's hoping to find a partner for your own stories then please read on.

I've been roleplaying in one way or another for quite a long time already and yet still find this to be a fun and enjoyable activity. Throughout time I've tried out various settings (historical, fantasy, sci-fi, modern) and genres (action, thriller, psychological, military, horror, comedy, romance, slice of life). Like a great deal many other RPers I too happened to have a lot of fun with stories centered around vikings, pirates, mercenaries, soldiers, law enforcement agents, criminals, villains, vampires, demons and others I'm likely forgetting right now. I'd love to try out new things still but the previously mentioned seem to be what most people are still interested in - not that I really mind...

I'm not interested purely in smut stories. I do occasionally read them and there are some on this site that are actually rather good too but I find it near impossible to maintain interest in such things for any prolonged period of time. That's not to say I don't like or want some smut in the stories I'm part of. By all means, if it fits the plot and it's well written then I'm all for it. I just don't want such scenes to become the focus of a story. The thing I'm most interested in RPs is character development, followed by the narrative itself and probably the world building aspect afterward. I want the story to affect the characters taking part in it and I want the plot to adapt to how those characters change and interact among themselves.

Post frequency is one of the hardest things to maintain due to life happening outside of the forums. Usually I can almost guarantee at least one post per week, though most often than not it would be closer to 2-3 instead. There will also be times when I can probably manage multiple posts on a daily basis too but such occurrences shall be a tad less frequent. Assuming I've failed to post for a whole week then by all means send me a PM to remind me of it. Speaking of PMs - I'm all for using them in order to discuss a story and to a lesser extent even socialize assuming that's your fancy.

Now as far as post length is concerned, I do prefer lengthier ones. I like reading and I like writing and while I agree in theory that quality should always beat quantity, for the majority of time bigger is in fact also better. As such I would appreciate partners that can write at least three paragraphs and ideally more. I myself tend to mirror and at times surpass my partner's posts - not that I'm actively trying to...

I almost always RP male characters in the lead role though depending on the story I can also add a diverse support cast as well. I usually play humans though depending on the setting also D&D races, aliens, vampires, demons and who knows what else. Assuming sexual orientation comes into play then the answer is typically straight... and possibly bi, though the latter typically involves NC content. Assuming it's relevant, I can switch and fake submissive behaviors but I generally enjoy dominating roles.

Since O/Os and kinks are important to most users here - although I obviously prefer some things more than others, I do not however have any hard limits. None whatsoever. At least none that I discovered thus far in over fifteen years of roleplaying. I would be most impressed if anyone can possibly change that though!

In case I forgot anything important then feel free to PM me about it. More importantly, feel free to PM me if you're interested in writing something together. If you already have a solid idea then tell me about that and if you just have a vague half-finished concept maybe ask about that too - who knows, I might help out with that as well...
