A Girl and Her Dragon (Looking for male character)
« on: April 28, 2018, 06:56:57 pm »
Claudia couldn't help but sigh as she stared over the balcony at the buildings below her. People filled the streets as they bustled to and from their homes, yelling to each other, at each other, buying things, laughing, crying, smiling...

They were content living their own little lives. And why shouldn't they be? Most of these people would head home tonight to be with their families. A lot of them had a happy future ahead of them. The harvest was plentiful, the city was one of the most well guarded in the land, and commerce was booming in their markets. None of these people had to worry about finding themselves starving, or at war with barbarians, or without jobs.

None of them were going to be used as a bargaining chip by their family to secure their own wealth.

Claudia's gaze slowly shifted up and onto the clouds in the sky. What she wouldn't give to be a bird right now, to simply fly away from here. The innate freedom birds possessed had always fascinated her. As long as they were healthy they were free to go where ever their heart desired any time they wanted. Free from the grasp of man, his laws, or even gravity itself. How truly lovely that would be...

"Ah, Madam Claudia. Are you alright?"

With practiced ease Claudia plastered a thin smile on her lips and turned to face the timid handmaid. The servants here were always on edge, thanks to Lord Hartton's treatment of them, and that in turn always made herself feel uneasy. Claudia never wanted to be feared, not by the servants at least. After a moment's pause she managed to get over the discomfort and answer the poor woman.

"I am fine, thank you. Did Lord Hartton request my presence again?"

"No, not the lord." The handmaid relaxed and Claudia found her smile becoming slightly more genuine. "It's the tailor, he needs to make sure the dress fits for the wedding tomorrow. However, you do know how much he hates it when you spend all your time out here. He fears something happening to you."

"Like what?" Claudia couldn't help but chuckle. "What in this enormous city of his could possibly threaten me all the way up here?"

"Well...perhaps a dragon might come snatch you up." The handmaid was smiling too now. Despite the joke Claudia found her smile fade away and another sigh escape from her lips. Once again she looked out over the clouds.

"With Lord Hartton to be my husband, I fear no dragon."

So, I'm looking for someone who would be willing to play the part of a dragon that snatches up Claudia only to discover that her abduction by him was the best possible thing she could have ever wished for. From there I'm open to any ideas you have as to what they do afterwards if you wanted to do more than them just learning to live with each other. I'm all for having some of that 'learning to live with each other' part involve something intimate as well.

If you're interested, check out my Roleplay preferences and send me a PM!
