The Baroness [Pulp] [F/M] [F/F]

The Baroness

She likes her action fast….and her men one hundred proof!

Genre:Action
Pairing: F/M, F/F
Forum: Extreme
Role Sought: Anyone You Wish, Side Kick or GM
Seeking to Play: Baroness Penelope St. John-Orsini
Themes: Pulp, Genre Films, 70’s Glorious Trash, Jesus Franco

This is directly taken from The Baroness Novels. A series that was published in 70’s. You don’t need to have read the books, [hell I haven’t, they are too difficult to find. But I’m more about aesthetic and in any case feature paper thin plots which follow a basic template.]. Also, whilst the stories take place in 70’s, I’m not opposed to doing a modern take here as well.

A former Vogue and Elle cover model, the Baroness is a "long-legged beauty in her early thirties" who runs a model agency as a cover for her espionage missions. Her preferred weapon is the BernadelliVB .25 caliber.

She drinks martini cocktails, smokes the occasional joint, drives a red Porsche, throws lavish parties in her Rome mansion and enjoys fiery but casual sex with a series of handsome hunks, including suspected enemies she may well have to kill. Her jade green eyes, raven black hair and "explicit cheekbones" prove the perfect smokescreen.”

Born Penelope Worthington into a Philadelphia banking family, she was educated at Miss Frothingham's Finishing School. Her father was Arthur Worthington and she sometimes recalls his wisdom with fondness. While still young, she married an older man John Stanton Marlowe, who performed "mysterious errands" for the US government. The marriage was short-lived. He died while piloting his own Gulfstream jet.

She turned to modeling and while on assignment in Italy met the Baron Reynaldo St. John Orsini, a thrill-seeking playboy. It was the Baron who "brought her to life again." Their three-year marriage was a whirlwind of jet-setting parties, fast cars and scuba diving. "Life,” he tells her, “is keener when death is looking over your shoulder."

Following a tire blow-out on his Ferrari, the Baron died in the Monte Carlo Grand Prix. Penelope inherited his money, becoming independently wealthy, but for the second time found life a "void." That is, until a government friend of her first husband recruited her. Over two years, she was trained in weaponry, close combat and martial arts, learning how to pass out under interrogation and kill a man with a hairpin.

Her contact at the NSA is John Farnsworth known as The Key to her codename, The Coin.

Over the top threats to world peace! Massively cartoonish villains with all sorts of clichés attached to them! Outrageous sci fi tech! Its all in here and so much more!

I want to write an episodic adventure series featuring all of that with a massive dose of sex, violence and danger where I play the titular heroine and you can either GM, pick any character in this world or simply play her sidekick.  Whilst there’s plenty of action and sex, I would also love to have an element of dark humor in the tale.

Baroness has her own team, which we can develop/evolve the way we see fit, their details are:

Dan Wharton: Described as “blond” and “bearlike,” he’s a former Green Beret who is in love with the Baroness. He’s also curiously prudish and there are many subtle mentions of how he will shyly look away when he sees a nude woman.

Inga: A “big-boned, babyfaced blonde,” whose cover is as one of Penelope’s models.

Joe Skytop: Another bear of a man. He’s described as a “full-blooded Cherokee Indian” and he’s a master of all forms of unarmed combat.

Tom Sumo: Like Wharton and Skytop, another of the team members who actually matters. The Q of the Baroness’s team, Sumo is Japanese-American and contributes a variety of high-tech gizmos.

Interestingly, I have co-written a pulpy spy story that went on for quite a while with Oberon:

The TL;DR version:

A CIA operative and a British mercenary are parachuted into Sasteban, a fictional South-American island where they are to help an insurrection against the local Communist regime.
The setting is the early 1960s. It featured lots of pulpy actions scenes as well as more than enough smut.
