Deadpool + symbiote Anti-Venom
« on: April 11, 2018, 09:21:58 AM »
Hello, is it possible to combine Deadpool with the symbiote Anti-Venom ?

Deadpool
Cure for Cancer: Wade's healing factor was specifically designed to replace his bodies cells as fast as they were being destroyed by his illness. Until recently when both his healing factor and illness were removed, should his cancer be cured then his healing factor would be rapidly producing redundant new cells, which, if left unchecked, would cause horrible growths over the body and would eventually explode, as demonstrated on the Super Skrulls with Deadpool's powers.

Anti-Venom
Accelerated Healing Factor: Additionally, the symbiote is capable of healing injuries in the host at a faster rate than normal human healing allows. The symbiote is also capable of healing injuries and illnesses that current human medical care cannot such as cancer. This is even more advanced for Anti-Venom, allowing him to regenerate from a shotgun wound to the head in seconds.

Webbing Generation: Anti-Venom can shoot strands of the alien’s substance. The symbiote’s substance seems to be composed of tough, flexible fibers of organic polymers, which regenerate swiftly after "shedding". The one limitation to this ability was used to Spider-Man's advantage during their second bout; Since the webbing itself comprises the costume, if Anti-Venom generates too much he will be left vulnerable as the symbiote is weakened and unable to replenish his lost mass for a short period of time. In addition to creating webbing, Brock can use the symbiote in the form of tentacles or tendrils to attack or ensnare his opponents.

Can the webbing generation compensante the excess produced new cells ?

If that description is accurate, then it's a misnomer to call what Deadpool has a 'healing factor'. It's more like the healing factor is merely a byproduct of runaway cell division and replication. Either the healing factor contributes toward a homeostasis or it's something else entirely and any healing associated with the effect is purely coincidental. The body's base state is not to burst with malignant growths so that makes no sense. I can trick my ingrown toenail into growing back in its normal direction, there's no reason that no longer having the body needing to reject and replace cancerous cells should then let mitosis go berserk all over the rest of the body. Someone didn't think this through correctly. You don't see Wolverine or Sabertooth dealing with that crap so Deadpool's a wild card in more ways than one if his personality AND ability are that radically different from others'.
