As of late I've had a craving for a vampire roleplay.  I have various scenarios in mind though I should point out that I do like detailed posts which are at least five healthy paragraphs if not more.  While these scenarios might have sex the focus is more the story and characters.  I'm looking for someone who has an interest in story telling and not just erotica.

Scenario 1: A vampire finds the body of a young woman that is on the verge of death.  No matter what he does shes going to die, which only leaves him with two options, either end her life, or try to save her by giving her the gift of life.  The role of the woman is open, with nothing set in stone other than she is young, between.. 18-20?  I want this scenario to have a lot of conflict and emotion. The woman obviously had some kind of life, friends, family, maybe even a love interest before her human life came to such a tragic end.  No person would want to just cut all ties from their life, even after they've become a vampire.  I can see her wanting to go back to her life, her family, even unwilling to live as a vampire, which sadly is something that can't be undone.  I can see it as a fun and intense roleplay, the female waking up as a vampire, having no idea what happened, especially since she'd remember the assault, remember being left for dead, and knowing that she shouldn't be alive.  Not to mention seeing the vampire that created her, and then being told what shes now become.

Scenario 2:  A young woman lives with her fiance/husband in an apartment.  The kind of couple that got married a little too young, and while they love each other the relationship is definitely strained.  At some point something happens in her life, or possibly the vampire character just swoops her away and forces her into becoming a vampire.  This scenario would form a love triangle with the young woman at the center.  It's still a vague idea in my mind but something that we can build on upon further discussion.

Here's a possible intro I wrote for scenario 1.  It'll give you an idea of my writing style.

It was faint, yet very distinct.  The scent of blood was one that Edmond could smell and sense a mile away.  Feeding had long stopped being a necessity for Edmond given his age, a feat that not many vampires could lay claim to.  He could have just as easily kept going his own way, not to mention sunrise was less than an hour away.  While his age might have given him the ability to master his hunger, sunlight was something that even he couldn't stomach for too long.  There was no reason for him to seek out the scent, no reason other than curiosity.

Edmond quickened his pace which led him to the industrial area of the city.  It was darker, and quieter, which gave Edmond the freedom to to move in a way and speed that would seem unnatural to the human eye.  Now that he was closer the scent was stronger, though it wasn't just blood he could smell, but death.  The foundation of the building was still being erected, construction equipment and materials littered the grounds.  To human eyes the area would have been pitch black, with the exception of a street light flickering a few feet in the distance.

Within the blink of an eye he was standing over her.  She was a young woman no older than 25, if even that.  Her body naked, assaulted, beaten and broken.  There was blood on her face, and hair, the blood that had gushed out of the stab wounds had pooled around her body, already starting to coagulate.  If it hadn't been for the faint beat of her heart one would almost think she was dead given the stillness of her seemingly lifeless body.  Her breathing was so shallow and faint that her chest to rise and fall as it would on a normal person.

She'd been left for dead hours ago after what looked like a grueling assault that couldn't have been over quickly.  He could smell the scent of three.  No... Four other men as he silently looked down on her.  Was she even conscious enough to be aware that he was standing over her?  “What a waste...”  Edmond said to himself as he crouched down next to he.  Even the best medically equipped facility wouldn't be able to save her since she was moments away from death, not to mention it wasn't humanly, or inhumanly possible to get here there that fast.

Edmond had no way of knowing what kind of life the young woman had led, a life that was on the verge of ending almost as soon as it'd begun.  He reached out as his hand gently closed over her mouth.  “You deserve better.... But I just... Can't...”  He said to her softly, unsure if she could hear him or not.  Even with his hand covering her mouth he could hear that same faint beat of her heart from earlier.  It was obvious that she'd been left like that some time ago.  Not only had she been beaten, something that could have happened both during and after the assault, but she'd been stabbed repeatedly.  There was no logical reason for her to be alive.  Despite everything that had happened to her she was clinging onto the one thing that was still hers, one thing that she wouldn't let anyone take away from her.  Her life.

Creating life was something that Edmond had seldom done, his last companion was centuries and centuries ago, and even that had circumstances vastly different to the one he faced.  His last companion had chosen the life he gave her.  The young woman laying in front of him was so far gone that her human life was over regardless of what he did.  After the torture she'd endured, could he really condemn her to a life of darkness?  There was no time to think, all Edmond could do in that moment was make a decision, a decision that he knew was wrong the moment he pulled his hand away from her mouth.  He wasted no time as he ran a nail along his wrist.  In the darkness of night his blood took a thick, blackish tint as it dripped into her open mouth.  The young woman didn't cough or gag as his blood sank into her throat.. Not a good sign, he thought to himself.

He pulled his wrist away from her lips, the wound closing soon after.  He waited, and waited... And waited.  Her body was just as still as it'd ever been, and yet her heart continued to beat.  A few moments later he once again moved his wrist over her mouth, slashing open another wound.  This time he pressed the wound against her lips.  It was then that he felt her mouth close around the wound on his wrist.  She still couldn't move or talk, perhaps her body was acting out of instinct as she weakly began to suck, taking in as much of his blood as it could, not too different from a baby sucking on it's mothers teat.  Too much of his blood had the danger of poisoning her to a fate that was worse than death, worse than that of a life as a vampire.

He pulled his wrist away from her lips, and even though she might have wanted to keep drinking, might have needed to keep drinking, she was still very much at death's door, and still couldn't move any other muscle.  After all if she could have she would have grabbed onto his wrists, forcefully holding it against her mouth..  Sunrise would be upon them shortly, and now that his blood was in the young woman's system he couldn't just leave her there.  His arms moved under her body, effortlessly lifting her up, into his arms as he looked around.  There wasn't enough time to get her back to his place before sunrise, which meant his options where both limited and risky.  The area itself was empty, which perhaps was the point as no one would have heard the young woman's pleas and screams.  Dawn was already beginning to light up the sky along the horizon as he carried her along the deserted sidewalk.  He'd made it down two blocks before he found something suitable.  The building was old and abandoned, and as he kicked down the door the human scents were so faint that it was obvious that no one had stepped inside in quite some time.  The inside looked like the remains of what used to be a diner, covered in dust, darkness, and cobwebs.  He laid her on the counter as he moved quickly to barricade the door shut behind him.  He then turned to the floor.  He knelt down as his arm flew back before slamming into the ground, penetrating through the dusty tile, his arm all the way up to his elbow disappeared into the floor.  He jerked his arm back as he pulled back the tile, concrete, and the dirt below.

He began to dig with both hands, his strength more than enough to plow through the tiles, as well as the concrete underneath until he hit the dirty.  It was work that would have taken a group of men hours to accomplish, yet within a few minutes Edmond was able to dig up a shallow grave.  He made his way over to the counter as he picked up the young woman, carrying her to the hole he'd dug as he placed her into it gently.  It still didn't look like she was aware of what was going on.  He quickly covered her up in an inch or two of dirt, not nearly enough to weigh her down but enough to keep her body safe.  Enough to give her body a chance to start to recover.  He sat with his back pressed against the barricaded door.  While it would have been safer for him to dig his own grave, he couldn't risk leaving the girl so helpless.  Even if he wasn't in direct sunlight he'd be weak... This way however he'd be able to protect her if the need arose.  Even in a catatonic state of slumber his instincts and abilities would wake him if there was any danger.

He closed his eyes as he sat there motionless, not moving an inch until dusk approached.  He was the first to wake, and given that he hadn't been disturbed during the day, it could only mean that there were no intrusions.  Edmond remained seated against the barricaded door as he waited...  At that point there wasn't anything else Edmond COULD do but wait as he'd done all he could for her.  Either she'd awake to the new life he'd given her..  Or...  Her life in all sense of the word was over.   Patiently Edmond waited..

Scenario 3:  This plot is a little different.  My character is a human who is a hunter of all things supernatural.  Nothing too crazy, just a modern world setting that has werewolves/vampires, and a few otherworldly beasts/monsters?  When Mason was 17 he was an average teenager, came from a good family, good looking, etc etc.  One night he was out with his girlfriend on a date.  After dinner they'd pulled up to this quiet spot on the side of an old dirt road.  They were messing around as teenagers tend to do.  A little later on the girlfriend needs to pee.  There were trees a few feet from where they'd parked, so the girl gets out to find a secluded spot.  A few minutes pass and the girl doesn't come back, so Mason steps out of the car and calls out her name, but gets no reply.  So he takes a few steps in the direction that he'd seen her walk off in, calls out her name a second time, again there's no reply.  He takes a few more steps until he sees her.   It's dark but it's a full moon, that and shes wearing a white dress so it's not that hard to see her.  It's at that point that he sees a trail of blood staining the top of her dress.  As his eyes adjust to the dark he sees a dark hand around her neck.  The dark figure is towering over her, and in the darkness he couldn't quite make out it's features.  Before Mason could do or say anything the figure wrapped it's other arm around the girl's waist before it flew straight up into the air like a bullet.

There was nothing Mason could do, his mind trying to make sense of something that seemed impossible. One minute she was there, the next she was gone.  He called the cops, they came out but couldn't make sense of what he was saying.  All that was left of his girlfriend was a few remnants of blood where she'd been standing.  Authorities suspected that Mason was responsible for her disappearance, especially since his story made no sense to anyone.  Of course there was no real evidence.  What happened destroyed Mason, he couldn't come to terms with what had happened.  Soon after he started to pull away from his life.  School, friends, family, as he became obsessed with trying to find his girlfriend, trying to find out what happened to her.    He never does manage to find her, however eventually he finds someone who is a hunter, after hearing his story it's clear to them that the culprit was a vampire.  The hunter trains Mason, who then tarts hunting vampires, werewolves, and monsters wherever he can find them.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for in this story.  Maybe he runs across a young woman who has lost her family, or maybe he comes into contact with a woman who is also a hunter... Or.  Somehow his path crosses with a female Vampire, someone who is obviously a vampire, but not evil per se.  Plenty of directions the story could go in, so hit me with any ideas you might have.  I wrote out a small character introduction for Mason below.

Rain fiercely came down on Mason and everything around him as he climbed the chain linked fence of the junkyard that was a few miles outside the city.  Once over the fence he looked around, which was easier said than done given the way the wind was throwing the rain in all sorts of directions.  His trench coat flapped against the wind and rain as he began to navigate through the columns of wreckage and old car remains.  Slowly his right hand pulled out a large colt revolver, a weapon which looked more like a hand cannon than a hand gun on the twenty two year old.  The revolver held six bullets, and while they were laced with silver he knew he wouldn't get a chance to reload. Six shots were all he'd get.

All of a sudden a bright flash of light filled there air around them as lightning struck.  For a second the junkyard became as bright as day, and that was when Mason laid his eyes on it.  His prey.  The newborn werewolf he'd been tracking for the past week.  “Fuck..”  Mason muttered under his breath because it had also seen him.  He was about 50 yards away, and while he was still in his human form his eyes had already begun to glow a sharp tint of yellow.  The light had disappeared but the glow from his eyes remained.  Thunder crashed around them as the sound caught up from the lightning.

Mason held out both arms, steadying his aim with the colt as the beast began to charge.  The glowing eyes had started off about five or so feet from the ground, and as it dashed closer Mason could see his height shifting as he transformed.  Mason got one shot off by the time he was around thirty yards, by which stage the glowing yellow eyes were around nine feet high as the werewolf was running just on it's hind legs and not on all fours.  The shot hadn't affected it's speed at all, which meant Mason had missed.  Mason only had two things on his side.  One, that the werewolf was a newborn, which meant all he really had to go on was instinct, and in that moment his instincts told him to kill.  The other was that the thick low hanging clouds masked the sky, and since he wasn't under a full moon the werewolf wasn't at full strength.  Not that it made too much of a difference since Mason was only human after all.  There were a plethora of scenarios, and realistically not a great number of them ended with an average human being coming out triumphant against a werewolf.

The first shot had missed as the beast sprinted towards him getting closer and closer.  Mason let out a second shot, then a third.  The beast howled out in pain but didn't stop, nor did it slow down.  It was about twenty yards away as it leaped into the air.  At that point Mason was only able to follow it given the glow of it's eyes.  However as the werewolf leaped through the air another flash of lightning lit up the yard.  The terrifying beast came into full view as Mason let out the last three shots in quick succession, hitting it's neck, shoulder and chest.  Mason released the colt from his hand hand, reaching into his trench coat with his right hand, though before he could pull his machete out his 5'9 frame disappeared under the beast as it's body came crashing down onto the ground.

Mason groaned and grunted from underneath the body, a moment later the machete pierced through the dead body, taking from it the last remnants of life it was hanging onto.  It wasn't until the body began to slowly transform back into human form that Mason was able to push it off of him.  Mason slowly pulled himself up onto his feet, tucking the machete back into the inner picket of his trench coat, and the barrel of the colt at the back of his jeans.  Mason himself was practically covered from head to toe in blood, the violent rain that continued to rush down did little to wash it off as Mason as he tracked his way back to his old worn out Camry.

The drive back to the city didn't take long, the motel he was staying in was old and run down, but did the trick.  The rain helped keep him incognito as he made his way into the room.  He shut the door behind him, locking it, then pushing a sofa against it.  It wasn't like the sofa would keep out any of the things he hunted, but would give him enough warning to get ready.  Mason made his way into the bathroom, his eyes catching his reflection on the small mirror above the sink.  His dirty blonde hair sticking to his scalp under a layer of blood.  His bright blue eyes usually sparkled, though the stare he gave his reflection was deadpan.  He moved past the mirror as pulled out his machete and colt, leaving them on the counter as he stripped down.  It wasn't until Mason was seventeen that he became aware of the hidden world that everyone seemed to overlook, a world that sometimes he wished he still didn't know about.  Still, that was a good five years in the past, and the lifestyle of a hunter had taken a toll on his body.  Mason branded various scars and wounds throughout his body that he'd acquired throughout the years. Life expectancy for someone like Mason wasn't long, and in a lot of ways it was a miracle that he was still alive.

Mason cleaned himself off, which took some time given the sheer amount of blood he had to contend with.  Once done he stepped out of the shower, drying himself with a towel, shortly after discarding it on the pile of wet, blood soaked clothes that he'd worn earlier.  He picked up his colt and machete from the counter as he made his way through the dark motel room.  He was too tired to eat as he walked over towards the bed.  He tucked the machete under the mattress.  He took a moment to reload the colt, after which he slid it under his pillow.  He laid on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, hoping for a few nights sleep before morning.  Before he'd be back in the road to perhaps another city.. Another town.. Anywhere where something supernatural was preying on the helpless.

Annisthyrienne

Please forgive me for posting in your thread in case you didn't want that.  It was not specifically mentioned.  If nothing else, this can be a free bump back to the top of the forum.

But when I read your first idea, I just had to tell you what kept going through my mind.  I've always been fascinated by Near Death Experiences, out of body experiences, etc.  So I was thinking, what if the girl who was dying was having a near death experience at the time.

Everything is blissful, peaceful, beautiful.  She knows that her spirit would live in that wonderful place forever.  There is an overwhelming sense of love, of being Home, at last, of belonging.  She is in joy and bliss, despite the cruel ending of her physical life she had to suffer through.  Now all her suffering is over.....until she is pulled away, back to a world of death, suffering, loneliness and struggle just to survive.

Can you imagine the way she'd feel towards the vampire once she found out it was he who denied her paradise.  Especially when she realized she would live forever in the physical world, and even if she were killed or destroyed, she no longer has a soul that could go to heaven.

I would think that at first, she'd be very resentful, possibly even hate him.  But over time, perhaps decades or centuries, she'd realize how very lonely her life is, and that human companionship is not satisfying, because to her, their lives are all too brief.  She has one person she could be happy with , one person who could share her life and not fade away.  Him.  Her maker.

Could she forgive him, even learn to love him because he's her only real choice?

I don't mind people replying to the thread, so no need to apologize.

It's actually funny because I've had a handful of people PM me with ideas that just came to them while reading my intro. It's always great when ideas just flow like that and it's been great to read what some people have managed to come up with.  Only problem is that I can only write with one person at a time.  I'm still discussing the plot with someone, but nothing set in stone yet.  On a related note, if any of you want to steal the idea or use it for your own roleplay, please feel free to do so.

Annisthyrieene, what you wrote kinda reminded me of one season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, she dies and goes to heaven, then her friends bring her back and she kinda has to adjust from being in heaven to having to fight vampires/demons/monsters again, it was definitely an interesting arch for the character.

In this rp I do see a huge adjustment for the female character, and not one that she'd go through easily, not just for the reasons you mentioned, but her attachments that she had in her human life. If she was married, had a boyfriend/fiance, she wouldn't exactly want to give up on that just because shes a vampire, wouldn't understand how something like that would be very hard to sustain, a human/vampire relationship.  Then there'd be her interactions with the vampire that turned her, she'd also have the memories of what happened to her, why it happened.  Was it random?  Or did someone want to hurt her?  Lots of fun/interesting directions to go in.
