You know... I might have to dig out some art and see if I can find anything for my character Primrose. But she's more Fae than anything else, which realm would you imagine something like that might come from? I don't think I have much I can use for Prim, but she might be exactly what is needed. She's quite definitely 'healer' class, but she's the sweet bubbly sort of personality that goes a bit cranky if you do stuff that pisses off the 'healer'.

As you said we've got three potential females stuck in pipeworks (Vonandi, Sephora, Rynn)
And Avalon, Joanie, MelodyCake, and perhaps even myself are contemplating a female.
Not sure where SweetSerenade rests with their secondary preference but a possibility there as well.

If people think it would help we can start discussing ideas for secondary characters?
From what I've seen so far I think Melusine would be green lighted without issue.
The Shuten Doji concept might need a bit measuring but it could definitely work.

Since I've received a complaint, I'd also like discussion to move away from "There's no compatible characters"
To something more positive. Essentially, I'm interested in hearing what sort of characters people would like to see.
Whether it be an image they'd like someone to use, a personality type they're craving, or an idea they think could be interesting.
Personally I'd be interested in seeing a female character that leans a bit more towards the sweet side of things.
I'm not requesting a shy quiet submissive by any means, but between Noel and Tsukasal; it may be nice to have someone that's less confrontation/assertive. Could elaborate a bit more on the preference if someone's considering it. But I'll leave it at that for now.

Well, we've got alot to work with for sure! From what I can tell, Melusine sounds like she'd have a place here in the game among the characters. As for the Shuten Doji inspired character, that sounds like the fun sort of trouble waiting to happen for me. xD Would definitely need to be careful with the direct alcohol-poisoning though, haha. Built up from ingesting innumerable drinks is one thing, but one sip from a particularly toxic one would certainly be a nasty surprise. D: Otherwise though, she sounds like the sort of character who could give Takuya the 'get drunk andpass out before seeing where he wound up the next morning' feelings he on occasion enjoys. =p

She sounds precious! Also like someone Takuya might irritate with his shenanigans, haha. I feel like she could call Errure her homeland, if only for the fact it seems like a place for those in touch with the land and/or wildlife can call home.

I wouldn't say that Mel's less assertive, but definitely less forceful for sure. And I do like the idea of her getting all motherly over Noel and/or the other humans, so I'm pretty sure that'lll be happening.

Motherly fetishplay from Melusine? Inner ween the unintentional dominated antics? It seems like I missed a golden character long ago. D:

I actually was taking some time rereading through the old renditions of this game, just to acquaint myself with the game and how it evolved over the years. o=

As for me playing a secondary, it very much depends. I mostly play guys, so I'll probably hold off on doing that until the number of females exceeds them. =p

I was actually thinking, while Fae-like, she'd be more likely to come from Charon - as she's quite Angelic in her appearance despite being very 'pink' (which I've been trying to find her image but I can't and it's driving me nuts.) She'd definitely be the gentle nurturing type, and probably be doing something of a 'family' duty to go and help the poor little humans... xD

That also works! I was just thinking how most fae I've seen had that whole nature-y feel to them, save for a few. But I like this idea too. =p Them airquotes are definitely making me wonder how her family's history of helping people panned out and what it entailed. xD

Depends on the member of her family I suppose. I just mean Fae like in the effect that she's exceptionally delicate in her build and look, but that belies how strong she actually is. She's going to be such a cupcake of a sweetheart, and is actually one of my more sexual characters (But she doesn't make advances till after someone has made it clear they 'like' her.) - and she comes with a plethora of interesting situations. Despite her rather sweet demeanor, she can be exceptionally devious and manipulative.

I seeee~ Well, consider my interest piqued. o: I don't wanna go getting anyone's hopes up for things that may or may not happen, but given contracts can be forged with multiple Shikis it seems, I probably have some leeway in seeing what sort of troubles and amusements Takuya can get caught up in. o:

I'll be able to have a little something planned for everyone one way or another. ^^ I will definitely say mischief is one of the easiest ways to get Takuya to interact easily and favorably (since he doesn't mind if the mischief is played on him either~)

I'm also tempted to say this isn't Takuya's first time trying to contract a Shiki. Likely his first time failed because his mind just wasn't quite there in the spirit of things, among other reasons. =p

If there is enough interest in the prospect, it would take me very little time to throw together a profile. She's not a type I play very often, so I might be a little rusty at first, but probably get back into the swing of things.

Also would love to know which of the images people like more, finding images for someone like her is a littlleeee harder. I wish that I could have her curls in the picture, because she actually has essentially banana curls but a little looser.

It's hard to pick between the both of them since both look pretty darned cute. That being said, I feel like the first might draw people more. Softer, more modern seeming image might convey the sense of sweetness people might be looking for. =p

While I'm not going to outright reject trouble-makers, part of me feels as if we've gathered quite a few troublesome Shiki already. Sure I expect all Shiki will cause some sort of trouble at some stage, but at the same time too many similar types does tend to detract from the wow factor. Just something to keep in mind.
If anyone tries to make an orderly control-freak, they're going to die from stress within a few posts xD

Yeah, hasn't been much interest in female Shuten Doji yet. I don't mind if she doesn't end up in more intimate relations but I would like her to at least be considered interesting by other people and have her be interacted with. If it doesn't work I can shelve the idea for later or for another rp. I still have the fantastical Haru around to cause trouble after all. xD

Did some more thinking about her though about what I want to do with her. Definitely going to have her base ability be brewing Veskran oni alcohol. Probably going to have her be good at cooking too. She prefers drinking. But she can't say no to good food either and can't host any kind of feast or banquet without food and snacks. On the shiki side relationships she's probably looking for someone to drink with. As funny as it is seeing people unable to get through  the first cup without passing out or dying it gets old without having someone to laugh or talk with.

As for personalities I'd like to see, I'd love to see someone who's all about order and rules or is a bit of an ice queen/king. Mainly because I just want to give Haru a target to mess with.

But I'm also someone who enjoys having his characters thrown into awkward and troublesome situations. o: Platonic or intimate, I could definitely see Takuya agree to go drinking with her (and probably drink so much that later that evening he's puking up rainbows like Aqua from Konosuba, if he doesn't pass the hell out)

No one's gonna build up a tolerance if they don't expose themselves to it first. =p I had the idea that Takuya would probably try to get work bartending at whatever sort of locale he cam while working with the Occultists, so he won't be a stranger to a little inebriation. But I see him not being ready for what your girl offers, so... Well, like any other guy, he'd keep coming back until he could take it. xD (which may or may never come, who knows). He may have to devise ways to keep standing...

I'm currently just brainstorming a few character ideas, and sometimes those ideas end up getting doodles Nothing is set in stone what I will be doing with my secondary (been playing with an idea to nudge someone to possibly play siblings with me) but I thought I'd share a doddle I'm currently working on that I might end up using if I decide to go human female :)

Oh wow, she looks very lretty, even for a doodle! So this would be our second female Occultist, hm? Shaping up great so far! Also color me curious about this sibling idea.

Edit: Actually, what surprised me most this run compared to older runs of the idea was... We have no truly monster-y looking Shiki girls. We have Tsukasa as the sole female Shiki for now, and others are pretty much ideas waiting for the chance to be made. =p Probably one of the biggest reasons that make me sad I missed the earlier runs.
