I do have one kind of related question. Are our characters explicitly aware that they are demi-gods? You mention that they notice they're stronger, faster, and have strange affinities but do they know the reasons why? Obviously, this will impact MC if she was unaware before she was 16 and has lived with the knowledge since turning the hunt down.

It's actually up to you whether or not your character is always aware. Mostly because it depends on the parent. Naturally Artemis would have told her daughters at the age of 16 and they would have known since then. There's nothing saying they couldn't have known but believing and such is up for interpretation.
