Fair Enough, though I might need to play with the stats a bit so I can hit a little better. Let my armor do its work I suppose.

Well just holler if you want advice/help/whatever  :)

Well I changed her over to a BB/K blend and she now uses a Rapier. I will get Slashing Grace when I can. Thanks for the advice!

Sadly they nerfed the way slashing grace works with magus, dervish dance is the only way to get dex to damage as a magus.

That's about the sole option if you want dex to damage as a magus, yeah.

I'll give it a try, dance around the battlefield and zap them with my sword.

Yup! That's how magus plays at times, it can be quite fun. You may not hit as hard as the barbarian or fighter but you get cool tricks in fighting and spells, which are always superior to smashy smash.

Given everyone else has cowtits perky breasts someone a bit more slender would work, certainly.

Cowtits is right, buddy boy! :-P

You could lower your str for dex - if you wanted to really pump your dex up. 17 in int isn't that important for a magus, you can probably skimp by with a 16 or even 14 and again, focus on dex. Sadly, weapon finesse isn't available as a feat for you yet, since it requires BAB+1 and Magus does not get that till level 2.

Unless going by kitsune race which trades natural attack for weapon finesse, but that would then change race your using (not the pic as it can fit as kitsune's humanoid appearance). But overall you could memorize a true strike spell and get couple guaranteed hits with any weapon in first level. Or use more bow weapon until at 3th level.

Yeah, do not let our optimizing nerds loose vision of char you want to play :). Just like discuss potential mechanics and give inspirations for future char ideas.

yeah, I like making 'effective' characters yet my version of effective may not be your version of fun! nothing wrong with a str focused magus at all.

Aye, sword wielding magus with power attack makes wonderful 'single hit nova' build. More so if go vital strike route. Besides you should not forget magus is a spellcaster and spellcasters can do lot more than just dmg with spells (utility with dimension door, divinations, etc). I myself like make my chars versatile as possible and do low to mediocore dmg (unless high dmg is default state of the class).

I will focus on planning more ahead with her bastard sword. Right now my bipolar baby is happy to swing her big sword and be ready to shock some fools later. Though vital strike spellstrike sounds lovely.

Huh, I thought hers were bigger. They certainly LOOK bigger. And she has C's without implants, I believe, she just got implants to get them back up to the size they were before she lost weight (according to her, anyway). In any case...I'll say Ari has DD's. :P

Also, Robyn: I would look at some Archetypes for Magus. There are some interesting variants in there! My personal favourites are the Card Caster and the Staff Magus. :P

Loved your swashbuckler Vergil ;)

Also, thanks! :P

And yes, I concur that Shocking Grasp is THE best Magus spell. Especially if you boost it with Intensified Spell. A Second Level Spell that does potentially 10d6 Damage? YES PLEASE.

But can you combine vital strike with a spell strike of that?
That IS the question.
