My cleric is going to be a Neutral Human Cleric of Pharasma.  He or she had the following rolls:

QuoteRoll ID: 108138
Owner: PhantomPistoleer
Viewer: Noone or Anyone
Time Rolled: 2017-09-26 11:55:12

Summary: At 2017-09-26 11:55:12, PhantomPistoleer (uid: 3619) rolls: 24d6 Result: 75

Full Result: PhantomPistoleer rolled: 24d6
Comment:
Result: 1, 2, 5, 2, 2, 5, 1, 2, 6, 2, 6, 2, 5, 3, 5, 1, 5, 2, 5, 4, 4, 2, 2, 1,
Total: 75

This resulted in the following scores: 9, 9, 14, 13, 14, 8, which scores at a 9-point buy.  Since the previous ruling stated that any scores below a 15-point buy should be re-rolled, I went ahead and re-rolled:

Total: 92

This nets my cleric a 17, 7, 16, 14, 17, and a 5.  This theoretically nets me a 31-point buy score, except you cannot legally purchase a 5.  Does the GM find these stats acceptable?

Oh yesss. I love the idea of a charakter just being horribly inept at something. Not that i'd abuse that fact  >:)

Meet Faltir Lennox, a prominent Mwagi scholar and wizard.  Since he was the youngest wizard in the wizard tower, Lennox had to develop a disarming and unassuming personality to stay in the good graces of his wiser elders.  Like most scholars, Lennox is focused and dedicated to his studies, but is prone to long intervals of idleness.  He is notoriously absent-minded in his day-to-day activities.

Lol. That did not end up a cleric  XD

I had trouble making the cleric that I wanted to make with the stats that I rolled.  It came down to me not wanting to play as a cleric that had a 5 intelligence.

Fair fair, Just had to tease a bit. I'm holding off on my character still till someone else joins the wagon. I'm still kinda leaning between Sword and shield type or a cleric.

Autocad

Making this post from phone so bear with me if it's a bit awkward. Will be editing in new info in stages.

Welp looks like I got the heroic npc array. For class I'm thinking fighter or similar martial type.

Hope this is acceptable to the GM.

Galanthor

The stats are so low that that you would be able to reroll once or just take the 25 pt. buyout. I think you should do one of those, because those stats suck.

Also...we'd probably be full now right?.

ShinigamiWolf

You could easily close it at this if you prefer.  While traditional dnd prefers the 4 man team. I have always seen a 5th as a non issue. So it's purely up to your digression.

Given the submission of the two martial classes (one switch hitter and one undetermined as of yet) and the arcane support. I shall put together a cleric soon. I typically lean away from humans as a race....but I am sitting here debating why I should given the stat array.

Galanthor

I'm referring to the original request.

Well you could use a race to specialise somewhat... but I see your point

Autocad

Second time's the charm!

1, 4, 5, 2: 11
4, 5, 5, 5: 15

That's... another 15 point buy equivalent, same as the first time. Looks like the dice have spoken! If allowed, I'd like to use the first 15/14/13/12/10/8 array, since that wastes less points on odd scores.  :P

Galanthor

Or...you could just do the 25 pt. buyout

your choice, really.

I think we should create an OOC for the meanwhile.

Apologies guys, I have been an indecisive dick canoe on making my character. (I have no idea where the insult came from, I just went with what flew out my fingers.).

I shall try to get it up to night, I was rolling some ideas around in my head the last two days trying to decide how best to make the character and kept trying to merge the original idea with the better and...idk, I shall have something soon though.

I see quite a bit of money there, might I point out that you probably won't find a lot of shops on this adventure?

Also...i'd like everyone to state where they boarded the ship for my notes.

That said...sorry Phantompistoleer I didn't see your sheet...so well: It still lacks backstory (unless you count the brief summary you gave) so we know where and why you boarded...also without I can't mentally torture characters with their sins of the past. Additionally to that and...I think I said it before...but if you don't at least take a waterskin with you on a journey to the jungle it might end up biting your ass.

ShinigamiWolf

O.o....I've got only about 2 gold left.

Also I will try to get myself a backstory written up soon. I am thinking that probably I would have joined the ship about Cheliax and stayed hidden till after the final pick-up before the final destination....cause I mean what they gonna do at that point, throw me overboard?

Autocad

Sticking with the 25 point buy.

Boarded in the Shackles

Ogrok had anger management issues all this life. He was born and raised in the Mwangi expanse but had to flee after a heated argument that got out of control and ended up with a death. Taking the first ship away he ended up working as a merchantman sailor for a few years until pirates raided the ship he was serving on near the Shackles. Given the choice to join or die, he joined the pirate crew to save his own skin. While his rages made him an effective pirate and fighter, they were once more his undoing. During a grog-filled party celebrating a successful raid, he got in an argument with an officer and killed him in a drunken rage. The punishment was to be keelhauling and death, but he managed to escape and took the first ship away from the Shackles, fleeing his past once more.

I would like to purchase some equipment, but I'm not sure what starting GP is supposed to be?  I think I've only outfitted my character with approximately 75-80gp.

The character also boarded the Jenivire in Ilizmagorti.

History:  Faltir's parents were world-renowned Mwangi scholars who were assassinated by the Red Mantis criminal organization in the jungles of the Mwangi expanse when Faltir was seven.  After their murder, and in accordance to their last living will and testament, Faltir was sent to the Acadamae in Korvosa to study magic under an old family friend.  The young wizard disliked his studies and developed something resembling post-traumatic stress disorder after witnessing so many of his friends die during his ten years at the Acadamae.  To escape the horrors of magical training, Faltir found solace in his mother's journals, which tenderly cataloged her adventures in the continent of Garund.  From her writings, and his continued study, Faltir became a world-renowned Mwangi Scholar in his own right.  He set off to the Expanse as soon as he graduated from the Acadamae.

Not sure if you're still open for players, but if so I'd love to join.  Don't know the world very well so I can't suggest a port of departure, but presumably a major city (she could either have been brought aboard for delivery, and escape during the course of the adventure, or she could have already escaped and just grabbed the quickest ticket to get further away).

Aria
Strix Skald
Character Sheet

Description & Background
Although most strix are feared and reviled, those of the Golden Cliffs hold a very different reputation.  They are prized for their exotic beauty and delicate voices, traits gained from a mix of harpy blood that fetch a good price in the flesh trade.  Speculators often hunt the southern isle in search of eggs or young to steal from the vanishing tribe.  Aria was older than the typical capture; usually trainers prefer chicks who won't remember the taste of freedom.  But her new mistresses were free with their whips; after a few months of beatings they were certain they'd broken Aria's spirit.  They watched, smug in their superiority, as she learned to cooperate and master the arts of a Red House courtesan.

She was merely patient, though, biding her time and playing at the role of simpering songbird, gathering more knowledge than her fool captors realized as she waited for the time to strike.  The opportunity came at the end of her training.  She would be less guarded at sea, en route to her buyer.

Personality
Intense, bold, daring, narcissistic, decisive, and playful, Aria has an unbreakable spirit and a constant delight in the world around her, from a good thermal on a cloudless night to the rigorous satiation of her own sexuality.  Unlike others she won't be upset to find herself on a remote island, rid of the Red House and away from the claustrophobic stench of the city.  If there are a few dangers and the odd quirk, they are a small price to pay for freedom.

Sexuality
Aria is bisexual, although she views the sexes differently: women are more prized for companionship while men have a more purely carnal purpose.  Formally trained in the infamous Red House, Aria has a thorough theoretical understanding and is very practiced in many ways; however, her virginity has been preserved - with the help of a chastity belt - to increase her value.  The product of a matriarchal clan and relishing her newly recovered freedom, she has a keen interest in power games and bondage - and a decided preference about who is in charge.

Sadly he is sticking to core races and classes.

Understandable.  I have a couple options there, too - but want to make sure there's a potential spot before getting too involved.

Galanthor

...the request said 4 players max...so...doubt there is

Guess I should open the OOC now...not sure where to sort this in though? Probably NC Exotic just to be sure? :/

Autocad...which City did you board? There's three in the shackles: Ollo, Quent and Port Peril. Doubt it'll have too much impact, but better save then sorry.

According to my info Wizards start with 2d6 × 10 gp.
