roughly. Technically they do tend to live somewhat longer lives, but nothing that would freak out the medical world. They just happen to have a high percentage of people live into their 90s or beyond.

Shifting is possible from birth. In fact, they shift from before birth, to accomodate the mother carrying them if she shifts. But shifting is a conscious action so most won't shift until they're able to walk and talk, roughly.
