Personality: Connor is confident and quiet, even soft spoken unless a situation requires the full weight of his ire. Being a man that works day in and out with his hands, he takes pride in his work, and finds joy in even the simplest things. For his build, he is surprisingly careful, knowing that if he does not check his own physical potency, he can hurt someone. He should not be mistaken as meek, however. Connor is secure enough in himself and his abilities to not raise his voice, speaking with a strict and ironclad tone. Through his work at the lumber mill, Connor has built his own cabin in the fringes of the County, as well as making several charitable contributions to local housing developments. His giving spirit combined with his no-bullshit attitude has him pegged as a local problem solver. 

Backstory

Connor has been a working man in Crook County for the last eighteen years, rolling into town as an emancipated youth on the late night bus. Even back then, he was a large lad, and the scent of wolfenkind hung around him like an angry storm cloud. Some time ago, according to his mother, Connor’s father came from the stock of Crook County, and always told Connor that he could find safe haven there. Through a series of misfortunes and personal hardships, Connor found himself as a young teen with nowhere to go but this supposed sanctuary of Crook County.
There, Connor tried desperately to find a place he could belong. Being an outsider with connections to the County by his exile of a father, Connor had little choice but to start from the bottom and work his way up from there. Shacking up in a small studio sub-basement for his first few years, Connor began his work at the local lumber mill. There he has worked through to the present, earning a reputation in the local supernatural community as someone to go to should you ever find yourself in peril.

Name: Sinopa Johnson

Occupation Tribe Administrator

Personality: Sinopa is bitter about her husband 'giving up' his role as leader of the pack is motivated to make sure everyone understands she is still the HBIC when it comes to the day to day running of the tribe. She is not nearly as ready as her husband is to step out of the limelight. She is still ambitious and headstrong and her ego is too hurt lately to think clearly about most things. She is a fairly nice, decent, person most of the time. Just not lately.

Backstory

Sinopa is Steven Johnson's most recent wife. A May/December relationship, the two met more than ten years ago at a gathering of the local wolves and quickly fell in love.

Sinopa was born on Achappa land and is full blood native and wolf. Her parents are fairly well to do in middling positions in the tribal government and gave her a comfortable upbringing. They also taught her her people's history and their traditional beliefs including respect for the land and living at one with nature.

She went to college at Oregon State and learned land management and agricultural techniques there. She returned to her family and  her passion for representing and helping her people earned her a rather important role in the local tribal government.

It was after she had begun working that she met Steven. The love that blossomed between them was a surprise, she had always expected to marry a native, although who that was exactly she wasn't sure, and was caught off guard by having feelings for a white man. Nevertheless she followed her heart and the two began to live together. Never married in the white-man style, they simply shared their space with each other in a loving manner.

She has always had a bit of an awkward relationship with Alex. She is closer to his age than her husbands, but wishes he would think of her as a mother figure. Having always wanted children of her own, but not really having the time to start her own family, she tries to make him where she funnels her maternal instincts. It doesn't always go over well, due to her not being his mother and not even being old enough to really be his mother.

She was furious when Alex took advantage of her husband's weakness to challenge him for the job. She views it as a betrayal, even though she knows he logically did what he had to do, her feelings drown that out. While her husband seems content to fade away as he grows old, she has taken the whole situation the opposite way and wants to be more involved and now more than ever wants Alex to listen to her. Things will be dicey to say the least.

Steven himself is not spared her anger. She is furious at him for 'giving up' and not fighting on his own terms. She also accuses him of going easy on Alex and letting him win. The two are officially 'taking a break' from their relationship for the time being, and Sinopa has reminded herself recently that traditionally her people did not equate a relationship with sexual monogamy. She intends to use her sexual prowess to whip some of the prettier wolves into line and seduce the more aggressive ones into calm obedience.

In her role as a tribal administrator and the wife of the chief wolf, Sinopa has a say in many of the day to day tribal and wolf functions. She wants to keep it that way.

Wolf A smaller and otherwise unremarkable gray wolf with no battle scars. She's not quite as comfortable in wolf form as many of the tribe.
