A few new ideas! Cults, darker Stepford and one SCP (F for M or M for F)

I've been thinking lately... and, as it happens, some new RP ideas came out of it! *gasp*

This time around, most (or all) of these ideas fall at least under the NC type. A few might be a bit dark. Anyway, I invite you to read about them! :)

Without further ado...

Idea 1: Trapped In A Cult (F for M)

In this modern-day story, I'd like to play a woman who gets kidnapped by a very strict religious cult. Think: secluded community, puritannical morality, women wearing ankle-length dresses, very traditional gender roles etc. After her imprisonment, my character would be subjected to all kinds of attempts at brainwashing her into becoming another cult member. I'm thinking of realistic mental manipulation / re-education / indoctrination here - all kinds of tactics cults are supposedly using. Would my character break and give in? Let's see :)

I'd be looking for someone to play the cult member(s) here, especially the charismatic male cult leader.

Idea 2: Cult Marriage (M for F)

In another cult-related idea, I'd like to play a guy who joins a cult (the same one described in the previous idea) on his own free will - I see him as a journalist or private investigator looking into this group. In the cult, the guy would quickly be presented with a nice, fully indoctrinated female cult member and would be made to marry her... What would come out of it? Maybe the guy would really fall in love with her in the end? Let find out :)

Idea 3: Darker Stepford (F for M)

Well, I can't help having a soft spot for the Stepford setting and I'd like to try exploring it again... This time around, though, I'd like to try going for a different, darker interpretation of what's going on in the town. Aside from the novel and the first movie, further Stepford interpretations involved some not-very-invasive form of brainwashing as a way of making the women into docile homemakers. In my previous Stepford RPs, I've run with that take - and I'd like to go with something different now.

In this story, men would still be making women into obedient perfect housewives... but the methods would be less pleasant, darker. I'm not set for one specific method of control and I'm actually open for discussion with my writing partner here. For example, what if the whole town was operating like a genuine cult, using all kinds of mental manipulations to keep the women in line - methods ranging from love-bombing to heavy peer pressure to invasive religious indoctrination? Or, maybe, the men in the town are actually drugging their wives into being compliant? Or there might even be some creepy neurosurgery involved...

There are many possibilities. The general idea is to make a Stepford story with creepier undertones. Not the usual "We wash your brain gently with a magic hairdryer" story, but something darker.

In this story, I'd definitely love to play a female arriving into Stepford and targeted for this dark Stepfordization. I'd need a writing partner to play other characters - quite probably my character's husband, as well as other men and women in town.

Idea 4: SCP-288 (M for F / F for M)

Speaking of Stepford, I really like the idea of this particular object from the SCP Wiki. I'd love to try an RP where I'd play a husband who would get to put this ring on his wife's finger... or, alternatively, to play a wife who starts wearing it. Let's explore what it'd be like!

For this story I'd need a partner to either play the Stepfordized wife of my male character, or a husband to my female character who gets Stepfordized.
