"Well we have been inside most of the time," Katya said. "I don't know about you but I've lost track of the passage of time recently."

" yeah true " she smiled and kissed Katya" I

The plane jolted for a moment as it slowed down. "Well, we've landed," Patrick called out. "I can give you a hand off the plane if it'll help."

[Lawshenk]

" up to you, would you at least like a coffee or anything ?"I

[Lady Jenn]

"I'm more of a Coke person," he replied. "Besides, I probably shouldn't have caffeine before I've got back to base, just to be on the safe side."

[Lawshenk]

" we can give you water"

[Lady Jenn]

"Okay," he said. "I suppose if the guys need me to get back I do have a fiancé who can just teleport over here," he said, laughing.

[Lawshenk]

" yeah having the best pilot in the oragisation engaged to a teleporter kinda funny really"

[Lady Jenn]

"Well he can't really teleport everywhere," Patrick said. "He doesn't like to talk about it but every time he teleports he makes himself ill, that's why he has to rest afterwards, and that's without mentioning the mental scars it gives him."

" yes we aren't all lucky enough not to experince side effects for want of better words "

[Lady Jenn]

"I don't know if I'll ever be able to use my suit again," Katya said sadly. "AVA confirmed what Isaac suspected, that with my knee the way it is trying to plug into the suit might actually make it worse."

" I am sorry Hun" she kissed her " what about gerris idea?'

[Lady Jenn]

"Remind me?" she asked. "Sorry, my brain is still in dreamland I think," Katya said, unable to stop herself laughing.

" nanos she was reverse engineering something "

"Promise not to be mad at me?" she asked, looking at Geri. "At this point...I think I'd rather just stay like this. I've spent enough time in a hospital bed already and if I can't be sure it'll work I don't want to put myself through more pain for no reason."

She smiled and kissed her head, that is exactly what I hoped you would say sweetheart"

"I know AVA well enough to know if she thought the risk was worth it she'd advise you to take it," Patrick said, rolling one sleeve up to reveal his left arm was part bionic. "Yeah, when I said I got out of that storm unharmed it might not have been entirely truthful."

" it's fine you don't feel harmed is kinda not a lie also as a flyer other people's landings always worry me"

[Lady Jenn]

"It's why I can fly this plane so well," Patrick said. "It wasn't supposed to, but for some reason my bionic arm and the AI in this plane synchronised, it means it's easier for me to detect a problem and vice versa."

" so your more AI then you are you ? Sorta?"

[Lady Jenn]

"No, I'm definitely human," he replied. "Like I said, apparently my arm and the AI...for want of a less dodgy sounding word, bonded somehow."

" like your arm logged on to it's wifi?" She smiled " sorry I miss understood, so wheeled Katya to the exit

[Lady Jenn]

"I used to play baseball when I was younger," he said as he followed them out. "About the only downside to these bionics is I can't judge my strength enough to throw it accurately."

"Hey, I got a fiancé and a well-paid job," Patrick said, laughing. "I'm a very long way from complaining about it."
