"He even talks occasionally," Patrick said. "I'm not sure why he's playing the mute card right now, but then you usually can't stop him talking so that might be a good thing actually."

[Lawshenk]

" what's his name?" She looked at him ' maybe I should introduce my self"

[Lady Jenn]

"Nick," Patrick replied. "Unlike AVA his name doesn't stand for something, and I barely know what AVA stands for."

[Lawshenk]

" hi Nick, I am gerri and this sleeping beauty is Katya we both greatful and pleased to meet you"

[Lady Jenn]

There was a strange beeping noise from around them, which caused Patrick to laugh.

"Oh come on Nick," Patrick said. "You're an AI, AI's aren't supposed to be shy around women. Heck, you're not meant to be shy period."

[Lawshenk]

" well it just goes to show how advanced you really are " she smiled

[Lady Jenn]

"Sadly I think he's not being talkative today," Patrick said when no further sound was forthcoming. "At least he knows you appreciate the effort though."

[Lawshenk]

She thought for a moment " is he 26 per chance?"

[Lady Jenn]

"He's...to be honest, I don't know what his age is," Patrick replied. "He came online before he was installed in this so I can't even go off the age of this transport."

[Lawshenk]

" seem like a teenager to me for want of a better word a nerdy one, no offence "

[Lady Jenn]

"Probably," he said, laughing. "We should probably be glad he can't throw a strop, I'd worry what would happen to this plane if he did."

[Lawshenk]

" yeah, thou I would still trust he get us there safely " she looked at him " so do you not mind being around us?"

[Lady Jenn]

"Around people with powers you mean?" he asked. "My sister had...well, I didn't know what they were when I was younger, but I realise now she had powers. And when you have a fiancé who literally goes through hell the rescue people most powers stop shocking you."

[Lawshenk]

" it can effect people differently but seem grounded "

[Lady Jenn]

"I guess I'm just used to it at this point," he said. "I don't see any reason to not feel comfortable around either of you two."

[Lawshenk]

" good to hear" she smiled " you not a egotistical villan type then. " She looked at him " I am sorry small talk is not my strong point"

[Lady Jenn]

"Me neither," Patrick said, laughing. "When we first got together Jack used to joke I was so bad at small talk he could have less awkward conversations with his pet cat."

[Lawshenk]

" have you seen any of my press conferences as comet they are really akward viewing"

[Lady Jenn]

"The few I've ever seen I never got that impression," he said. "Maybe I'm just too used to the people on the base, a lot of them are considerably less confident than you'd expect people with superpowers to be."

[Lawshenk]

" you think of it as conifendence as an extra power?"

[Lady Jenn]

"I don't know," he said after thinking for a moment. "I'm not going to lie, my knowledge of superpowers is...limited would probably being charitable."

[Lawshenk]

" hum, " she smiled " never meet a villian then "

[Lady Jenn]

"Oh, I have," he said, grimacing. "One of them was responsible for the situation Jack had to rescue me from when we first met. He obviously spotted something about Jack though, cos when Jack threatened to bring his 'friends' to the party the villain ran like his life depended on it."

[Lawshenk]

" so what did you think of there chairitable nature?"

[Lady Jenn]

"Well, they're not-" he started saying as the plane jolted suddenly. "Buddy, is everything okay?" he seemed to say to the air around them.

"I merely wished to inform you we have almost reached your destination," came an oddly tinny voice.

"Yeah...once we've dropped them off you and me are going to have a discussion about how to communicate information properly," Patrick said, stifling a laugh.
